not sure how effective he will be.. i expect he will start to keep his streak alive and then will play on selective downs to be used as a pass rusher

i expect we are going to see a lot of james and evans

Yeah, I'm alright with that, though. I'd rather see how he does in a full game, but I'd be worried about injury.

Peach King said that he had a really good practice in the final one this week. I suspect that they'll leave it up to Taylor.

I was thinking that too. I'd bet NY will run in his direction early and often to test him. Especially since the knock on him was his run defense.

I don't know if it makes any sense for Taylor to play tonight. Will Taylor be better than a healthy Evans/Wilson/James/Jackson? And, will Taylor be risking missing a bunch more games by playing tonight?

One reason he is playing had better not be prolonging the consecutive games streak. This is a team sport, and there is no room for individual considerations such as this. To risk serious injury and missing more games for an individual streak would be absurd.

Carter had a pretty good go of it last season with the giants left tackle. if taylor can give us any pop it would e a good look.

I guess they are sold on James, I'm not so sure about him, I thought maybe give the rook a shot. Or Wilson for speed. Along with Evans of course.

if Taylor and Carter can generate some heat we might be able to get a couple turnovers I got a feeling field position gonna be the key to the game.

Taylor was a non-factor tonight. Looking at him, he looks more like a linebacker than a DE. He was a liability against the Giants run-game. I wanted him out of there because they were running right at him and succeeding every time. We need to move Taylor to linebacker (washingtons spot) and then only use washington on obvious passing situations. Taylor just looked horrible tonight.

Jason Taylor just looked like a guy playing injured, IMO. He didn't seem comfortable planting his injured leg and getting any kind of push. The Giants were successful running at him because he couldn't really maneuver with that injured knee; he just went along with the flow. I hope he gets better.

Jason Taylor looked horrible, too upright, no pass rush pressure maybe all predicated on the bad knee. We would have been better off not having him play. His comments about maintaining the streak smacks of bruce Smith. And we know how lousy that was.

I dont think he played that bad. He showed some vet moxy breaking off the pass rush and defending a screen play to the RB. He drew running plays out to far to the sideline making the runs(for the most part) ineffective plays, he had no help from LB's on 3rd and longs, and no push up the middle, alot of the time their RB had to stay in a protect eli. I am not saying he played great, but it wasnt horrible. Everyone missed tackles last night.
