I bet to get some insider info on our blocking schemes and audibles and such. We'll have an extra spot on the active roster or practice squad. We should find some one dimentional player who can rush the passer.

I say it's probably not going to help them much.It seemes that we do a lot of adjusting on the fly anyway.We were able to make the necessary adjustments against the giants and falcons blitzes.
The Jets hung in there with the Pats this w/e.Besides it sure didnt help Johnson knowing the signals and all.

Maybe is shows genuine fear of the Redskisn offense. They are ranked number one in the NFL and have the third best rated passer!

that is kinda interesting.....but the pats do need a center....he may be cut or just retire like stai....

I really believe that they signed him to try to get an edge on our offense...I think other coaches know how sweet Spurrier's system is are trying to pick up some plays and schemes. I mean my theory could always be wrong, but a good example of this is when Jon Gruden signed Shane Mathews, who we all know from experience is HORRIBLE, but why sign him other than to try to get into Spurriers head. When Tampa signed Shane they had Brad Johnson, Shawn King, Jim Miller (also horrible). I guess we will see if they cut him next week.
