View Full Version : T.O. May Be Complaining, But Let's Not Forget...

That he dropped a gimme touchdown pass at about the 1-yd line, if I recall correctly. He has no room to criticize. The coaches pandered to him to satisfy his ego, and they did it to the detriment of their running game, and ultimately the whole team via the loss.
He's a cancer in the locker room.

The dude's insane.
Chris Collinsworth busted out this stat:
61 offense plays for the 'Girls.
20 of them were either passed or handed off to Owens.
One-freaking-third of their plays were directed towards him. When Dallas needed a first down late in the game, they went to him 3 straight times. Punt.
They went his way much, much too often and it cost them.
I hate this man.

Rogers got very lucky that T.O didn't catch the TD in the 4th. The one where he had to spin. It was very catchable. Rogers was lost and T.O just dropped it. I don't understand why Dallas stopped running the ball. Barber looked pretty decent in the 1st and they just went away from it. That is ultimately what lost the game for them.

He's looked like he's lost a step in the last two games. Not separating from guys who he used to run past regularly. He's still a beast in the red zone, but we defended him beautifully today and really shut him down for the most part.

Because for all the credit we give Garrett he has one serious issue that really ticks me off...he's friggen pass happy. This isn't the first time he's gone away from the run like this and contributed greatly to a loss. He did it last year against Philly when they came here and his excuse for not running it was "Well there were so many plays in the passing game that we just missed on that we just had to keep trying for them."
That's stupid, IMO. He did it again today.

Damn, I thought he had grown up and got passed being a punk. I don't want to see 24-hour sports coverage on any TO drama. He needs to shut up.

From what I remember, Barber had only 1 or 2 average runs... that's about it. He was getting stuffed (to my surprise) a lot. Maybe Garrett was trying to give him more room to run with the pass, but our D was pretty solid overall till we went prevent. Barber is the type you have to give 20+ carries to wear down defenses though. But give the offense credit.. they scored first, and kept it up which forced the girls to make plays, and make them soon.

And for what it's worth, TO would've been out of bounds on that near-touchdown anyhow.

Yeah I dont think there was anyway he could have got both feet in with control. So it didn't matter either way.

Well that's because Garrett abandoned the run way to early. They were moving the ball pretty decently and then he just stopped running.

He was 8/26 with a 15 long. That means on 7 of his carries he only had 11 yards total. Hardly effective. But I agree... they abandoned him way too early to be successful, I'm just saying that's probably a reason why.

They are a team that feasts off the big play. I don't think they can call a game any other way. But what's really true is Dallass has an achilles heel (and I've been saying this all along) -- Tony rHOMO. They didn't run the ball b/c they couldn't run the ball. And I honestly believe they got a little rattled and desperate when they saw they couldn't move the ball against that man-press coverage. I think the coaches panicked and that contributed to them trying to continuously get the passing game off the ground. After a while they simple forgot about it.
But don't discount our D. We're pretty good in all 3 phases of the game - save for Suisham and Brooks. The jury is still out on them (except for Suisams kickoffs)

tear that team apart TO, tear them apart like you did the eagles and niners!
i hope this continues, and JOnes pop's off to the media, and Homo says he will throw it to who ever is open. Then to says im open, and from there its all downhill. Please, i have been waiting for this for a long time. ever since T.O. signed with dallas.
do what you do best TO, tear them apart.

He looks like age is starting to bring TO down a little. Couldn't happen to a more ego-centric player. He is still dangerous; but Romo also was missing the mark often in the game - EVEN WITHOUT PRESSURE.
Does the planet revolve around TO? Seemed to be his statement in the press conference!
