Who was the most valuable player in a dominating (sure it was close, but not really) win in the last regular season game at Toilet Bowl Stadium?
*Jason Campbell: 20/31 | 231 Yards | 2 TDs | WEEK 4 HR PLAYER OF THE WEEK
*Santana Moss: 8 Receptions | 145 Yards
*Clinton Portis: 21 Rushes | 121 Yards | LG: 31
*The Entire Washington Redskins Team: Great overall team win over the Cowgirls.
*Other: Please specify your choice

The whole darn team!! Seriously, the most complete Skins win that I have seen in years. What an effort. Great production and very few mistakes from all three units, plus the coaches. This is what it takes to beat an elite NFL team on the road, and we just proved that we can do it.
Also, it's interesting to note that the Skins have played a ridiculous four out of the five top ranked offenses in the NFL, who have collectively averaged 402 yards per game, and we have held them all to an average of 315 yards.
The O is coming along beautifully and the D is one of the most underrated in the league. This feels like a very complete team to me.

I had to go with Campbell, we don't win this game without his week by week improvement. But, kudos to Zorn and the entire team. thats the way I like to see my team perform.
Hail!

I went with Campbell. If he keep improving like he has the last 3 weeks, that vote will be a fixture every week.

S. Suisham for me. 4 for 4 on FG attempts. He misses one and we lose the game.

Went with Campbell. He was great in avoiding the pressure and not letting the Cowboys get in his head. Who here wanted to trade him for Aaron Rodgers again?

Should be a few more options in this poll IMO.
Carlos Rogers had a great game.
Jon Jansen played well which was very good to see.
Springs had a great first half
Randle El played well and did beter in the return game too even thought there was largely nothing there.
I still would have voted Campbell but I just think these other guys deserve honorable mention.

Campbell and it's time some haters around here (CUTTER) serve themselves some crow about Campbell. The dude has gotten better each and every week.
Do let me know if Cutter finally mans-up and posts a retraction, as I cannot read his posts since he is on my ig list.

My first instinct is to give it to Campbell. But do yourself a favor and watch the Clinton Portis highlights on nfl.com. We all know he was a huge factor, but only a few hours after the game, I watched the highlights and said to myself, "Wow, he played better than I thought."
And then how can you *not* give it to Moss?
So, I took the cop-out and voted for the entire team. Three very deserving offensive players, and that's not taking into account the amazing job our defense did. Can't pick just one player.

Gotta go with Campbell. I was tempted to vote "team," but as a matter of principle I like to pick an individual for this poll.

All season long, I talked about learning and improving. I saw the results of that effort yesterday against the cow-pukes. Our Beloved Team beat a damn good team! Players and coaches stepped up and delivered. For this game!
They beat that damn good team by what they learned from their mistakes and the improvements that the entire team made.
That's my vote and I'm sticking to it! ;)

He took a shot, but this is all he could get out:
"I'm not drinking the Kool-aid just yet. But I've got my cup. He wasn't perfect. I think he left 2 TDs out there. But he certainly was good enough to win most games. Even more exciting, he is showing that he's getting better from week to week. I'm far more happy about that trend than his last performance.
He still holds the ball too long and he doesn't read the defense quick enough and/or know where everyone is on the field. But both are better. Where he puts the ball when he throws it shows the biggest improvement.
I still say we need a big time DT. But if you give me JC finally realizing his potential than I say we've got every bit as much chance as everyone else.
PS: Eli is as over rated as McNabb."

My vote would be for Zorn and Blache. Since they are not options, I will say the whole team. How do you get the whole team and their stats into your sig Lady?

Portis was awesome, the entire team was awesome...but Campbell's poise was so impressive that I gotta go with him. :banger:

If he would have played all the game, I may have said Springs. His first half was a thing of beauty. TO was non factor in 1st half thanks to Springs.
Campbell is the man. He did it and some of the little things like the pass for the big completion by moss leading to the 1st FG was amazing. He's hit, escapes teh tackle, and under pressure delivers an off-balance on a wide open moss. It was a great play!

It's hard to pick one player of the game. But I will go with Campbell.

I voted for the team. I'm still not sure I believe my eyes when watching this bunch. What a difference from years past. Very few mistakes, solid coaching, great perfomances both on O and D, turnovers, wow! Is this really the Washington Redskins with a rookie coach? Great fun!!

If given the choice, I'll always go team. Week one showed us what can happed if everything isn't clicking. A good play by one person is, in large part, a testament to 10 other people's doing their jobs well on that play.

I agree but I don't see how the team can be the hR "Player" of the Week
... it was a valid choice though

Picked Campbell but this defense has played well every week and every quarter. Blache is like G Williams but with less cover 2.

I had to go with the team. I was tempted to go with Campbell or Moss or Portis individually but I realised they were all so important, along with your O-line and Secondary play that it's just one of those things where you have to go with the whole team. A dominating performance by the Skins as a team.

From JLC:
How about Jason Campbell? (Colt who?) He's fourth in the NFL with a 102.2 passer rating. He's completing a healthy 65 percent of his passes. He's tops in the NFL in interception percentage; of the 33 QBs listed in the league leaders, JC is the only one who has yet to throw a pick. He has a 121.3 rating in the fourth quarter, second-best in the NFC.

I voted other. The D should get this one. They played solid all day without All World future GOAT Jason Taylor.
They completely took away Dullass' run game and made them a one dimensional offense, frustrating Terrell, making Romo hurry. Our rookie safety even took advantage of Tony "the pretender" Romo and is now tied for second in the NFL with 3 ints.
London Fletcher was all over the place and is now second in the league with 36 tackles.
And they all executed the bend but only let 'em score once and make 'em use the whole clock to do it defense very well.
Yea, the offense looked good, and except for allowing two coverage sacks in the 1st Campbell was efficient and judicious with the ball, but to me it was a TEAM win, with a D that was playing slobbernocker-lights-out ball.

A total team win. The offense kept the defense off the field. The defense got the ball and teams got us field position (the crappy pooch kick aside). I haven't seen us play this mistake-free and aggressive everywhere in a long, long time.

An awesome team effort if noteable indiviual efforts ......... but TEAM none the less is what got us the victory.

Santana Moss is a COWBOY KILLA. And I love him for it. He had 8 catches for 145 yards on Sunday. He had 8 catches for 115 yards in the previous Dallas game and 9 catches for 121 yards in the game before that. Don't even mention the Monday Night miracle. I love this dude...

tough call between Campbell, Portis, and Moss. i would say Moss if he had a TD (he should have on the long pass, but Campbell was under pressure and underthrew it), plus Moss had a drop on a slant early in the game that ticked me off. so i will say Portis.
other honorable mention - Suisham - 4 field goals, and we won by 2, plus he had good kickoffs.

Pwning the girls cuts a lot of ice with me. Santana is rapidly making me forget his bored and univolved 2007 and the horrible vagiants game. 'Tana-man is certainly our only homerun hitter right now and only a defensive coordinator as inept as Phillips wouldn't double him over the top to take him away. Why, O' why were they singling Newman on Santana when it was clear that Newman was burnt toast from the first quarter?
I will say this, I am really looking forward to seeing the play when JC lays one into 'Tana's hands in full stride and he hits the 60+ yard TD bomb running away. I am ready to see it. We have been getting big plays but not pretty plays. We will put it all together soon and I can't wait.

I lieu of having ANY defensive guys in the poll, I had to vote Team. Namely Shawn Springs shut down and shut up TO and that was huge and could lead to a the 3rd TO book in his trilogy; 1. TO and Garcia, 2. TO and McNabb, 3. TO and Romo....
