Anyone else see the post game "celebration?" Zorn credits everyone for a great win, then yells "Hip hip," and the team joins in with "hooray." Mike Sellers expression on his face was hilarious.

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/dcsportsbog/2008/09/daniel_snyder_and_jim_zorn_cel.html

Jim Zorn, was busy playing the part of Cub Scout pack leader, spurring his men on with an inspirational post-game chant of...."Hip Hip Hooray?"

"That's what he does," Santana Moss said of the post-game cheer. "Not weird at all. Everybody has their own little thing, and that's his thing, and I'm down for it. If you're Hip Hip Hooraying, you've got something to Hip Hip Hooray about. So I'm down for it."

LOL

I thought it was pretty cool. It was a total throw-back to George Allen, who used to do the same thing (but way dorkier than Zorn).

If Zorn keeps winning, I am starting the tradition in the upper deck after Ws.

What I wouldn't give to hear 90k fans yelling Hip Hip Hooray after a win :D

In fact - started it after his first win over Dallas.

Very good idea! I could be down for that. That's easily like the 3rd or 4th best idea you've had on this board.

Well its good to see that HR's resident "poo on everything" artist is alive and well. ;)

Agree, but that is more of an indictment of how little I bring to the table.

Hey now! This coming from the "poo on most things" artist ;)..... Hip hip hooray was probably the thing to do in the 70's but we are 3-1 so i hope he keeps it up.

Dorkiest celebration I've ever seen, but I'll Hip-Hip-Hooray after every win if Zorn keeps this up.

I think that would be pretty funny. I'm headed for the St. Louis and Cleveland game. Maybe we can start it then.

you think he knew about george allen's 3 cheers? i gotta believe he knew about george allen, but maybe not that specific detail.

i tend to believe he did it, not to pay homage, but just because thats him. a quirky kinda guy who is honest, passionate and has fun. alot like Allen, a quirky kinda guy

This dude didn't know our team colors when he got here. No way was he paying homage to anybody.

He's just goofy.

I love it.

I wonder if NFL Films captured the postgame locker room scene. The cheer would be fun to see some day. (They take miles of film each Sunday and none of it is ever seen!) Speaking of which, I think NFL Films has George Allen doing it.

Zorn says in his Monday presser he did the Hip Hip Hooray and three cheers because of Chuck Knox, and first did it in seattle.

He also says he didn't know about george allen did someone told him later.

ouch coach. you need to get into being a redskin. Joe gibbs, please invite this guy to the race track, and Tyler please sit next to hime onroad trips.

Smoak - I LIKE it ........ specially if you got some 2'x3' signs made up with each work printed on them. You and two other get the cheer going by raising each sign in order as the cheer goes on. Heck if catches on - you'll be on TV in no time. Of couse the Skins will have to keep winning.

I thought this was corny as well (in a DELIGHTFUL kind of way), but it was all validated right after the cheer was over. If you listen closely, one of the players yells out:

"Damn, Coach Zorn has SWAG!!!!!"

All while Sellers pats him on the a$$.

Gotta love it.

Oh my gosh, I cannot wait until the entire stadium bursts into cheers of "Hip-hip, hooray!!" next Sunday after our first touchdown!!

This is going to be as fired up of a home crowd as we have seen in quite some time. What an exciting start to the season.

Sure hope the good times continue!

What a great locker room it must have been with everyone contributing to the win. That is some awesome team spirit and what guys miss when they leave the game.

Hold on to your seatbelts, ladies and gentlemen. We are in for an incredible ride at Fed Ex field over the next several weeks.

On second thought, unfasten your seatbelt, stand up, and make some damn noise on Sunday.

This season is really shaping up to be something memorable.

Exactly why I cannot believe all of this "Trap Game" and "Let Down" talk. WHAT????

Our boys are coming home after going on the road and beating our 2 most hated rivals. Fed-Ex is going to be BANANAS!!!!! And our team will feed off of it. No way, no how does the dysfunctional Lou come in here and do damage. The Browns is a different story, but not this week.

I expect the atmosphere at the House that Jack built to be ELECTRIC!

El was making fun of his dorkiness in one clip I saw on TV. They are sure having a good time.

Allen actually danced around also. I guess that raises the dork level?
