Spurrier says he'll hold off on fines for at least one more week, but he's considering taking away some playing time from the worst infractors. Also, he apparently did bring in league officials during training camp in an attempt to cut down on penalties, that's something I missed.

Yeah JDS, I remember seeing the refs at FAD. Maybe he should bring them back for the weekly practices. They have been talking about the benching of players but alot of the media feel we are too thin to do it.

At least 15 penalties are BEFORE and AFTER plays. If we could eliminate just those, I would be happy.

Almost half of those penalties were this week.

DOn't worry guys...Spurrier will get a hold of these problems and we'll see better ball being played.

The ones I CAN'T STAND are the taunting or unsportsmanlike penalties...there is 100% no excuse for that. It's your damn job to catch the ball, now shut up and go into the huddle.

The taunting penalty against McCants was questionable. You see guys toss the ball at other players alot, do they get called for it.

it was...but be smart...why do they have to show off anyway? Just do your job and act like you've done it before. Ican half way accept it if it was after a td...but a FIRST DOWN?

You're right. It's the recievers job to catch the ball. They need to be a bit more prefessional out there. I don't spike the mouse when I fixed busted pc...:smash:
