Here are some of my faves:

Gotta laugh to keep from cryin'.

This is one pathetic tema with a set of absolutely terrible coaches and coordinators.

Stick a fork in this **CBCM**

I see not much has changed since last year -- Reid is still fat and the wideouts still suck!

Have you seen the Cowboys and Redskins schedule? Its damn near impossible for this team to make the playoffs now. I wont be shocked if the 49ers beat them next week.

Go Phils! Go Sixers!! The NHL's a step above the AFL, but I'll take that too!

Well, I'm reminded of one of Al Davis's sayings (from before he was completely insane). He used to say that you should never keep a head coach more than 10 years. This is Krispy Kreme's 10th year coaching the iggles. Yeah, I think he's getting a bit stale.

He's ammended that rule, seriously this week on NFL live they were talking about how Al said you dont need a coach for more than 3-4 years lol...so yes he has lost his mind.

Yeah, he's going by the handle "Sean Taylor". You shouldn't be surprised by some of the classless responses he is getting, which deal more with Taylor then the game itself.

Fire Reid? Get rid of McNabb? Way to overreact. Man there is a lot of football to play and these knuckleheads think their season is over. Fandom is great.

I called home immediately after the game ended (my dad is an Eagles fan). My mom picks up and I say "Tell dad at least the Phils won." Then I hear in the back ground "The friggin' Eagle suck [arse]." My mom said when the phone rang, my dad said he wasn't answering it since he knew who it was, LOL.

BTW, I'm starting to realize that some folks take football way to seriously as fans. The Sean Taylor comments are way out of bounds. The main guy making the insulting comments has an avatar of the late Jerome Brown which I find ironic. I imagine if/when they play the Bucs they will make comments about Matt Bryant's late son.

I honestly can't read those Eagle threads (and Cowboy threads for that matter) because there always seems to be some sickening comment or joke about Sean's death. It just goes beyond any fandom, etc. It's just disgusting.

Well, I guess they can wallow in their depression together for the rest of the season.

McNabb said in his post game interview that Philly is the better team. A reporter brought up that we beat Dallas, then Donovan said that they should have beaten them as well.

So apparently almost beating a team is the same difference as beating them :smash:

Priceless.

What do you expect? How I long for the past when a player could give the other team some props for winning instead of the pulling out the "we should a, could a, would a" BS.

Yo McNuggets, you do realize you were dominated after that PR that shouldn't have been a TD, right? The game wasn't even as close as the score indicated.

I live up here in Philthy, and NcNabb did indeed say the words "embarassing" and "two teams we should have beaten" in referencing the Skins win and the Crybirds past two losses (Chicago and now us)on PostGame Live on Comcast Philthy.

Dude is in a straight-up dreamworld where he and his team have actually done well for the last two seasons...zero respect, football wise, for this over-inflated-ego-punk of a QB...:eaglesuk:

I think we should take up a collection and buy Donovan McWaaaaa some Baby-Wipes and a pack of Pampers!
When the other team takes over 3 out of 4 quarters, I'd say that's a "BETTER" team.

Donovan McNabb is a disgusting, classless human being who is mad at the world because he, quite literally, puked away his only opportunity to win a Super Bowl. He is on the downside of his career, he lives in constant fear of being run out of town, and as he watches another season starting to unravel in front of his eyes he's having visions of spending the next four or five years as a journeyman quarterback in Detroit, Arizona, and San Francisco before his retirement, at which point the entire world will collectively say, "I didn't know that guy was still playing. . . ?". Three years ago he surely believed that he was destined for the Hall of Fame, and now he realizes that unless something drastic changes very soon, his exit from Philadelphia will sound an awful lot like his arrival; A chorus of boo's and jeers.

So don't be too hard on him. :)

SkinsKY

I'm not going to rip him for it. They had their chances and they could have come away with a win. If Carter doesn't blow up that goalline play, we could be in his shoes.

What if Santana or Clinton said that after the Giants game? Same position: could have won, but didn't. I don't expect other teams' players to praise us after we walked into their house and beat them.

while i don't expect him to praise us after beating him in his house, i love ESPN's Matt Moseley's take.

What game was McNabb watching? In training camp, I listened to McNabb review last season's 8-8 record and talk about the NFC East games the Eagles should've won. He boldly stated that the Eagles were the best team in the NFC. But at some point, even McNabb's bravado can't cover up the fact that the Eagles are a mediocre team right now. And after observing Sunday's loss, maybe I'm being generous.
McNabb's comments after the game rang hollow to me, and I'm pretty sure they'll have the same effect on Eagles fans.

"I was embarrassed these last two weeks," he said. "I mean [to lose] to two teams we shouldn't have lost to. There is no way that you can look at this game and say that, and not taking anything away from them, but there is no way that this team is better than us."
With that statement, the only person embarrassing himself is McNabb. The Eagles lost to a superior football team Sunday. This wasn't some nip-and-tuck game where the last team with the ball won. This was the Redskins scoring 23 unanswered points and running down the Eagles' throats. This team feeds off McNabb, but that doesn't give him license to make delusional statements.

Anybody ever notice that whenever a team in the NFL loses the fans are dead-sure it's the play-calling? It's as if it's unfathonamable that an opposing team might actually have played better than their team did that day.

I think it's fascinating.

Nice.

We ain't flying under the radar anymore. We are going to have to let the desire to be Excellent motivate us now.

I believe that the team was motivated by a lack of respect over the past 4 weeks. That will no longer be the case.

3 Winnable games loom and the chance to close out the 1st half of the season 7-1. We fans can talk like this, but our boys need to be focused on the Rams.

Something Special is happening in DC. I am hoping those who opined that we are not contenders will have to eat their words (I am sure most of them hope so too).
