Top Ten reasons why I cost us Sunday’s game!

On the long drive back home, weak and weary did I ponder as my mind went off to wander– what went wrong?
Then it hit me!

I didn’t bring the “Pig” – which was mistake # 1.
I didn’t bring the “Blanket” – which was mistake # 2
I didn’t watch the FOX pre-game show – which was mistake # 3
I didn’t make fried eggs and bacon for breakfast in my favorite skillet – which was mistake # 4
I didn’t move the pig from right side to left side when we switched from offense to defense – which was mistake # 5
I didn’t wear my pair of old faded jeans – the ones with the slight tear – which was mistake # 6
I didn’t switch my hat from up front to on-lock when we needed a turnover – which was mistake # 7
I didn’t get up and go pee at least twice each half – which was mistake # 8
I didn’t switch channels between quarters to check on my fantasy team players – which was mistake # 9
I didn’t shout through the TV to the referees, for their incompetent calls – which was mistake # 10

:smash: :smash: :smash:

And finally, none of the above mattered because I had too much of a damn good time with all my first met friends at the 1st annual HailRedskins Tailgate party!

Okay Namvet, next time you bring the pig and blanket. We'll see if JDS will allow you to watch the pregame show on the TV. I'll buy a burner and bring a pan for the bacon and eggs. I love them myself. Don't forget to bring the faded jeans next time. We have porty's in the parking lot so relieving yourself shouldn't be a problem. Well, hopefully JDS will want to check on his fantasy players as well and I think he'll let you shout at the TV. If not, I'll bring my 2-inch screen mini tv and you can shout at that all you want.

LOL Andrew. But you shouldn't shoulder all of the blame. PSF wore his Ramsey jersey. The same one that he said he took off last week during the Falcons game when we were down by 17. He takes it off and we come back.

I'm to blame as well. I haven't worn a jersey all year. Even though I was wearing a baseball Redskins jersey, I shouldn't have worn it.

So, I 'm sorry as well....;)

It's my dad's fault, he was wearing a Dale Jarrett shirt while we watched the game. Not only was it not Redskins, but It was UPS, enemy of FedEx.

It's my fault too. I have to admit...... I didn't wear my lucky Sunday boxers. You wouldn't have know it but I did and I feel so much better that everyone is sharing the blame.

Even though I attended the game and tailgate........... I still refused to watch the opening kick off.

Well, it could be Carmike's fault just for sloppy activity associated with the Skins mask and visor prior to the game. After all the pics were snapped, with the B&G mask, he flipped back the mask and the sunglasses went flying backward and broke on the concrete. Actually, that incident may have been my fault as I kept suggesting to put the glasses on over the mask for the pics. Oops.

No, the loss may have been my fault. Even knowing that wearing my Champ jersey clearly has led to a below .500 record over the last few seasons, I still elected to wear #24 instead of my 'good vibe' retro Ram Man jersey bought at the HOF store. My motives for supporting Champ were mostly political in nature (Champ contract argument). I should have thought more about the team than making nonsense statements. Sorry.

I blame it on the staff at Fedex for cutting the Funky 4 short on their timeout.

It was me.

The whole game it was too hot to wear my new Coles jersey. During the "break" between real game and OT I got cold and put on the jersey.

You all saw what happened.

Agh, AGG! How could you?! ;)

Don't worry NamVet, Mike's right, you can use my TV next time. I'll just pause the Madden game whenever ya need a good yell.

About the Dale Jarrett thing, see what happens when you wear a non sporting item in a sporting event :p

I was wondering if this would come up.

for the first time this year I:

1) couldn't find my D.Green jersey, so i went with the Champ jersey (the one that has been cursed since the Skins came to AZ and lost)

2) I didn't play ESPN football and beat down the G-men by a sickening amount.

I've learned my lessons. I need to be more consistent. sigh...

=)

I have no Redskins jerseys, caps, or mini helmets, so it could not have been my fault.

HailYEah~ I noticed that both you and Spence wore Champ jerseys. You guys may want to switch them out this week! lol

Yeah, I'm going with my Ram Retro vs New England. Spilled some beer on the Champ one anyway at the tailgate. I guess that was actually appropriate for jersey #24 last Sunday. :banghead:

I'll probably sports the LaVar jersey until I get a good Ramsey one, and then it'll be back and forth. Have to put on the Bruce when he gets close to the record, though.
