I'm really, really happy for PGiddy & Mo (not to be confused with Moe) b/c they have kived and died with the ups and downs this season. Me on the the other hand, while the Phillies are my favorite MLB team, I would trade them being swept for a couple first quarter TDs against the Browns. In my (sports) world you're either part of the burgundy & gold or you're second place... Or as is the case with the Phillies, third place behind the Tar Heels. :D

Either way, Go PHILS!

As I do not care for the city of Philadelphia itself.... I say RIOT AWAY!

While I am disappointed that the curse of Billy Penn is lifted, I will enjoy the fact that actually sticks in the crall of most Iggle fans. The perennial loser Phils dominate on a way to a championship but the Iggle still give inconsistent effort. Love it!

Congrats to the Phillies....:awesomewo. I don't even watch baseball, but a friend had me on the bandwagon for this series and I actually watched a good portion of each game, and I can honestly (yet surprisingly) say that it was fun to watch.

I figured they'd win, I'm a NL guy so I had to pull for 'em, but being a die hard Braves and Redskins fan I have no brotherly love for Philly lol.

Well, on a broadcast of the parade and celebration, Chase Utley just called the Phillies The F****** World Series champs...

Class move from a guy who was my favorite Phillie.

I figured they'd win, I'm a NL guy so I had to pull for 'em, but being a die hard Braves and Redskins fan I have no brotherly love for Philly lol.
That was too much for me to overcome. I found myself rooting for the AL team for the first time in 25 years, lol.
