Who has the advantage!

1. QB: Tom Bardy v. Patrick Ramsey

2. RB: Kevin Faulk/Antwoine Smith v. Canidate/Betts

4. TE: Christian Fauria/Dan Graham v. Flemister/Royal

5. CB: Ty Law/Tyrone Poole v. Bailey/Smoot

6. LB: Tedy Bruschi/Willie McGinest/Roman Phifer/Mike Vrabel v. Lavar Arrington/Jeremiah Trotter/Jessie Armstead

7. OT: Matt Light/Adrian Klemm v. Chris Samuels/Jon Jansen

8. OG: Joe Andruzzi/Damien Woody v. Randy Thomas/David Fiore

9. FB: Larry Centers v. Bryan Johnson/Rock Cartwright

Here's how I total it up:

QB: Brady
TB: Canidate/Betts
FB: Centers
WR: Coles/Gardner/McCants
TE: Fauria/Graham
OT: Samuels/Jansen
OG: Andruzzi/Woody
DE: Seymour/Pleasant/Warren
DT: Lyle/Klecko
LB: Arrington/Trotter/Armstead
CB: Bailey/Smoot
S: Harrison/Wilson

K: Vinatieri
P: Walter

C: Belichick and staff

On offense, the Redskins look better, though Brady is a better quarterback than Ramsey right now. Defensively, the Patriots have an advantage up front, though not as big [literally and figurative] as it was before NT Ted Washington was lost to injury. Special teams is a big advantage for the Patriots and coaching is a significant advantage to New England, as well.

Advantage in BOLD

1. QB: Tom Bardy v. Patrick Ramsey - Ram is on hot streak with better receivers

2. RB: Kevin Faulk/Antwoine Smith v. Canidate/Betts - Faulk and A.Smith won't average better per carry...but they may be just as successfull against our front 4.

3. WR: David Patton/Troy Brown/Deion Branch v. Coles/Gardner/McCants - Hands down Skins. We have the fastest WR, the best possession receiver and the best end zone receiver.

4. TE: Christian Fauria/Dan Graham v. Flemister/Royal - Graham is coming into his own, while Fauria is a TD machine (7 last year and 2 already this year)

5. CB: Ty Law/Tyrone Poole v. Bailey/Smoot Law is beaten up...but so is CHamp. I'll give the nod to the Skins.

6. LB: Tedy Bruschi/Willie McGinest/Roman Phifer/Mike Vrabel v. Lavar Arrington/Jeremiah Trotter/Jessie Armstead No contest

7. OT: Matt Light/Adrian Klemm v. Chris Samuels/Jon Jansen Who are Light and Klemm? lol

8. OG: Joe Andruzzi/Damien Woody v. Randy Thomas/David Fiore - NOT SURE

9. FB: Larry Centers v. Bryan Johnson/Rock Cartwright - Centers evolved the position.

10. K: Adam Vinatieri v. John Hall - Vinatieri is "Mr. Clutch". Gotta give him the slight nod.

11. P: Ken Walter v. Bryan Barker - NO CLUE

12. Coaching: Bill Belichek and staff v. Steve Spurrier and staff Spurrier has shown he can adapt to ANY gametime situation.

1. Ramsey : HE'S HOT and Brady's Not (< 76.0 rating GMAFB)

2. Canidate/Betts: The other two aren't even producing a 100/gm

3. Coles/Gardner/McCants: Hot QB = Hot WR!

4. TE: EVEN both team seem to using as blockers which they are not doing a good job at.

5. Bailey/Smoot: Slight edge, ALMOST even!

6. Arrington/Jeremiah Trotter/Jessie Armstead: Your kidding Right?

7. OT: Matt Light/Adrian Klemm: Brady hasn't been sacked as many time as Patrick.

8. Randy Thomas/David Fiore: at least our RBs are on the radar screen

9. Larry Centers: ALWAYS will be!!!!

10. DE: EVEN
11. DT: EVEN

12. John Hall: Flat out

13. P: EVEN - both average

14. Coaching: EVEN

Here we go:

QB: Brady gets a slight edge because I think Bellicheck is going to throw out some tough defenses on Ramsey and he may struggle in the first half.

RB: Canidate/Betts have an edge but it all depends on how we use them. If we stick with the run and pound the ball they'll produce but Spurrier has to stick with the run and not get down early like we have the last 2 games.

WR: We have better recievers although it is even if McCants and Gardner do not get there heads on straight and stop committing dumb penalties.

TE: Fauria and Graham are both solid recievers who run good routes and are excellent in the redzone. Flemister and Royal can't even catch the ball.

DBs: Smoot and Bailey but ONLY because they are facing worse recievers then the Pats. Talent wise I would take Poole over Smoot but Poole will have a tough matchup in Gardner while Smoot will either be facing a banged up Patton or Branch.

LB: Without Colvin this isn't even a comparison. There LBs are very good at stuffing the run though and will be very active the entire game. Again our LBs need to play smart and it shouldn't be a comparison.

OT: Samuels and Jansen but ONLY if they cut out the penalties

G: Fiore and Thomas have struggled but remain strong. Brady doesn't get sacked because he takes quick 3 step drops, Ramsey has been taking alot of 5 or 7 foot drops.

FB: Can't compare. Centers is a much better reciever but Johnson and Rock are better blockers. Just depends on what u want.

DE: Pats have a big edge here. Warren and Klecko have shown flashes while Seymour is a pro bowler. Bruce, Upshaw, and Wynn have mostly underachieved with very few great flashes and too many offsides.

DT: Without Washington the Pats are relying on a 295lbs Nose Tackle. Definite edge to the Washington rotation as they have size and can remain fresh throughout the game.

K: Hall has the edge on kickoffs but Vinateri is a clutch kicker and doesn't miss inside of 40 yards. He gets a slight edge since Hall shanked 2 last week.

P: Who cares?? They are punters enough said.

Coaching: In the last two meetings Bellicheck has outcoached Spurrier although both were in the Preseason. But what we have seen he has the edge until Spurrier can beat him.

Pretty much agree with Tom here. Only one i had a hard time and questioned, and i normally woudl not any OTHER year, is the way our bookend tackles are playing.

I'm a little skeptical why some are picking NE Rbs over ours.

Smith/Faulk have combined for 65 carries for 251 yards and 0 Tds. That comes out to 3.8 yards per carry.

In contrast, Canidate/Betts have combined for 71 caarries for 331 yards and 1 TD. That is 4.7 yards per carry.

I'd take Betts and Canidate right now.

I took our RBs only slightly. I think the Pats RBs do different things then ours do. They run a lot more screens and are solid blockers in the backfield. Also I always have a question about Spurriers willingness to run the ball. We could have Priest Holmes and Jamal Lewis back there but it'll make no difference if you throw the ball 40+ times a game like has been happening recently.

1. QB: Patrick Ramsey. I've never considered Brady a particularly gifted QB, and I'm sticking to that.

2. RB: Canidate/Betts. The Pats are already notorious for their lack of a running game.

3. WR: Oh, come on, do I need to answer? Really, do I?

4. TE: Christian Fauria/Dan Graham. Two quality TEs versus two who probably couldn't make the roster on most teams.

5. CB: Bailey/Smoot. I think Bailey and Smoot are better than Law and Poole respectively, though only by a slight margin.

6. LB: Lavar Arrington/Jeremiah Trotter/Jessie Armstead. The studs of our D.

7. OT: Chris Samuels/Jon Jansen. The fact that this is so close speaks volumes.

8. OG: I can't decide.

9. FB: Larry Centers. He's still the man.

10. DE: Richard Seymour/Anthony Pleasant/Ty Warren. I wouldn't take our DEs against practically anyone right now.

11. DT: Rich Lyle/Dan Klecko. I've already heard so many good things about Klecko it's scary.

12. K: Adam Vinatieri. He won a Super Bowl, for God's sake.

13. P: Ken Walter. I give this to Walter by default.

14. Coaching: Bill Belichek and staff. Let's not be homers here. Belichek is frightening.

1. QB: Tom Brady - He will take a 3 step drop and try to pick us apart

2. RB: Canidate/Betts - Hopefully this will not be a contest

3. WR: Coles/Gardner/McCants - Big yardage

4. TE: Christian Fauria/Dan Graham v. Flemister/Royal

5. CB: Ty Law/Tyrone Poole - They will actually defend passes. I believe "The Myths" have 1 defended pass between them for the year.

6. LB: Lavar Arrington/Jeremiah Trotter/Jessie Armstead - No contest

7. OT: Chris Samuels/Jon Jansen - Their pro bowl status is in question

8. OG: Randy Thomas/David Fiore - We will run wild

9. FB: Toss -up Centers doesn't block and these two have had problems catching

10. DE: Richard Seymour/Anthony Pleasant/Ty Warren - We are lame

11. DT: Rich Lyle/Dan Klecko - Ditto

12. K: Adam Vinatieri v. John Hall - Toss-Up

13. P: Ken Walter v. Bryan Barker - I hate to have the game hang on the punters

14. Coaching: Steve Spurrier and staff - The ball coach lives for challenges

15. 12th Man - It all starts here. The place should be rocking

Sorry, don't have the time to analyze all the spots, but I will say this. I have no doubt this is our week to win. I can feel it deep within my bones. Take it to the bank boys!

so how many of you took my advice and "took it to the bank"?

I just knew it was our game to win...just had that hunch.
