Thiesmann is right on this one though....Jansen said that he watches the play clock and it is getting close to 0 that he dont expect his QB to change the play and thats why he is jumping off sides and the coach needs to get the play in sooner....Joe said that Ramsey should tell him your not a coach and your not the QB so dont worry about the play clock. I agree 100%

I'm siding with Thiesman. HELL you don't think he doesn't know what Ramsey's going through AND what it can possibly result in. ....... AND even Jansen HAS admitted his play is sub-par so what more to you want!

You must not have been around when he help take us to two Superbowls.

I think might be attributed to his running of the mouth. Everyone I know that doesn't like him says that's there number one problem with him.

A lot of people don't like Theismann. He's got a big opinion of himself and in a sport filled with big dumb guys, Theismann was the brainiac. [And not shy about showing it off either.] As to this business with Jansen, all I would say is that Joe T hasn't been jumping offsides. Jansen should worry about his job and let Spurrier and Ramsey worry about what the quarterback is doing. Normally, Spurrier does not shy away from criticizing his quarterbacks, yet I have not heard him blaming Ramsey for all these false starts.

Yep, Spence. Theismann is the one people love to hate....but Theismann is never needlessly negative especially as far as Washingon is concerned. Joe's right.

Stop trying to save the team from itself. Concentrate on you, not everyone else.

Just because he won some superbowls doesn't mean u have to like the guy. He's a great QB, I just think he's jerk personally.

that is the stupidest thing i've heard. maybe im understadning this wrong, but jansen purposefully false starts because the play clock is running low? thats pathetic. im behind theismann 100% on this.

I've always been annoyed by Joey T's attitude to the post Joey T Skins. He just seems to like to bash or belittle the team as they can't be held up to his gold standards. I don't know.

He's right on this one though. I have no pity for Jansen or Samuels. Jansen can be as upstanding and articulate as he wants, but I'll ultimately stick to his gameplay when judging him. His protection has been suspect and those 3 false starts were unacceptable. I don't like that he made any sort of comment that could be contrued as an excuse. I think I like Samuels' more dumbfounded responses to his woes on the field. At least he's not deflecting anything.

Gotta agree with the majority. Although I think Joe T is a total slimeball, he is right in commenting on Jansen. Jansen needs to watch the ball or listen up!

People don't like him because he speaks his mind. If we didn't like eveyone who spoke their mind then no one would like Spence now would they? Lol...j/k man.

I think you're understanding it wrong. He's not purposely jumping offsides because the clock is running out.

Yep, but it's all in good fun. Would be pretty boring around here otherwise.

Jansen needs to quit blaming others for his stupid mistakes. Take ownership and quit blaming his "good friend" Patrick.

Just because the guy comes off as a jerk doesn't mean he should be discounted as wrong either. (no one hates a jerk more than when he's right - often Joe to a "T")

Whoa, I see a bit of harshness on Jansen here. It's his fault, yes, we all know that, and he shouldn't be jumping offsides anyway. But let's ease up on the throttling a bit. I'm pretty sure Jon knows he's wrong here. He's not trying to point the finger at Ramsey, he's trying to explain what happened. If someone comes up to him after the game and asks why he got those offsides calls, he can either grunt and mumble something like "Thought the ball was snapped," or he can actually go through what happened, which is what he did. I don't see it as an excuse so much as a reason, possibly because I don't doubt that Jansen knows full well that it's still his fault.

They were all over Jansen on Comcast last night as well. He seems to be getting more of the negative pub this week than Chris. But both need to step up and play better.
