Nope. He's terrible. He is only playing at a pro bowl level, arguably for the first time in his career. What a slacker.

Fred Smoot will run away from the ball carrier if he has a choice

One of Smoot's best attributes is run support. He always comes flying up to tackle.

Carlos Rogers is a quality corner…He can’t cover Holmes without help over the top

Hmmm... He has covered everybody else's top receiver pretty well man up. I guess Santonio Holmes will find out just how quality he is.

Jansen will get no movement on Aaron Smith in the run game…Smith will dominate this matchup

In pass protection, Jansen is a liability. Running the ball, I don't see him getting dominated.

Its the comments like these that make me wonder if the guy who wrote this has even seen us play.

I dont like his write up at all, sorry.
-First off he talks about how Keisel will dominate Samuels in the run game and then goes on to talk about how Samuels really struggles with pass protection, does he watch any games?
-Portis isnt fast? Landry runs a 4.3 forty and there head to head was basically a photo finish.
-He really underrates the skins Oline and Overrates the steelers dline.
-Fred Smoot tries at all costs to avoid contact? since when? hes little but comes up and puts hits on guys all the time.
-30-27 steelers? if the Giants, Cowboys or Eagles didnt put 30 on the scoreboard against us, the steelers aren't going to

This person does not know the Redskins personnel very well. Mostly looking at the Redskins using old information.

London Fletcher is having a monster year and is the heart and soul of this defense - not someone who has lost a step.

The information on Marcus Washington was just flat out wrong. He's having one good game for every two bad ones now.

Did talk up Horton, which was one of the few things he got right.

I don't see a high scoring game at all but even more smash-mouth football than the Stealers-Gints game.

Not a well written article in my eye.

Naw it was the Marcus Washington from when we last played (2004?) that we saw. This dude is a bit off if he thinks any Steeler CB has a chance against Santana Moss. Better double Moss, healthy or unhealthy. He's underrated some (Smoot, Rogers, Fletcher, Samuels) while overrating others (M. Washington, our special teams). Plus I think a 30-27 score is highly unlikely. These are 2 of the top 6 defenses in the league. I'll take my chances at a close, low scoring game

there is no way jansen gets beat in run blocking

its not as dominate as he thinks with carlos vs. holmes. i still give holmes the advantage (he had a week to rest from being suspended, and i really like him as a player), but not by much.

im pretty sure that smoot, tho not great in tech., tries his hardest in run support. launching his body everywhere (tho because he is so small it sometimes doesn't matter).


the guy doesn't know our personnel, but i don't know there's. its a NFC vs. AFC matchup that happens like once every 4 years, in don't expect him to know us.

I'm getting alittle sick of this notion you hear about safety over the top, when basically a safety is always over the top except when he's blitzing or crowding someone at the line.

Lots of times landry plays the middle of the field he's not shading to protect Carlos specifically most of the time.

If you get beat the safety can't get their in time. Detroit had help over the top of Moss and he smoked the corner and took it to the house before the safety could get there.

Holmes is more quick than blazing fast Carlos will do to him as he's done to everyone else.

The rest of that nonsense aboout Samuels and jansen is bogus.

as is the Portis take he's not big or fast lol yet he leads the league in rushing by almost 300 yards.

and he is extremely strong and powerful, just ask the eagle who is just knowing picking himself off the ground on the play portis broke his tackle and went 30 yards....or Kiwanuka of the giants....or anybody who tries to blitz...or anybody who watch's a game every now and then
