I doubt he'll be a QB, but someone will take him just on athletic ability.

He'll return to the NFL next year probably. Anyone need a QB or a backup QB? Get in line.

do you think that there is no team who will sign him?i don't care if he shot the pope, somebody will sign him.if leonard little who was caught dui 3 times and had a wreck in which he killed a mother of 3 kids can still be playing, vick sure can.what vick did was wrong, mean, stupid, and cruel, but he
should have a chance to make it right should'nt he?if there is a team out there that thinks he'll get them to the superbowl, somebody will sign him in a heartbeat.

The book is out on Vick. The only teams who would consider signing him would be those whose offenses are in complete shambles, those whose offenses are predicated on QB mobility over passing or those teams who have no problems signing troubled talent.
All signs point to Oakland, lol.

Mora hated him. Vick is the major reason why he got canned in Atlanta. I seriously doubt he'd make that same mistake again with a new gig.

i still say the guy is one hell of a talent, but i agree he'll not be a starting qb again.he would be a great slash like player that kordell stewart was.he may end up in miami,or hell he may fool us all and end up in chicago or minnesota as a starting qb.stranger things have happened.

I agree with you, when this whole thing happened I brought up the Little incident where he killed somebody and I got blown off and insulted to a certain degree. A lot of people up here wanted the guy dead, even killed and that's not right. He made a mistake and it was stupid, he's doing his time and he will have another chance, he should have another chance. With his ability, he doesn't even have to play QB but he will play again. If Leonard Little killing a lady can be overlooked how can they not do the same for him? Surprisingly I know it won't happen that way, he'll be put through hell again from people all over. And not that he doesn't deserve some of it, but only to an extent.

I also must say there were some really harsh words spoken when it happened, I'm sure that most people don't feel the same way now but initially there were some very bad, cruel things said about him. Hopefully strong emotions got the best of those people at the time and they don't really feel that way.

I think he'll play again, either Dallas or Oakland.

I don't know. The quarterback position is very different from other positions in the league. Regardless of how you feel about Leonard Little, the affect he has on his organization is little more than a blemish. He doesn't define the Rams. He's not a particularly high-profile player in the grand scheme of things.
If you make Mike Vick your quarterback, you are saying "This is the face of our franchise."
That would be a bad, bad move. I don't care how bad my team is, I wouldn't touch the guy.
I'm not saying no one will. But I wouldn't be surprised if nobody wants him, either.

Yes, the public loves a redemption story. Today Vick pled guilty to state charges of dog fighting in VA. This was expected.

The thing is that anytime it's discussed in any detail, I still feel exactly the same as I did when it was all brand new. When all the talk started up about him trying to make his comeback soon, I was feeling much more indifferent towards him. But then the other day I was reading an article recapping his fall from grace and it's just impossible to root for this guy. You've heard it a million times, sure, but then it gets to the point where he fails a polygraph test and pretty muchsays, "Ok, fine, I electrocuted a dog, drowned a dog, and slammed another dog into the concrete several times until it eventually died from a broken neck or some sort of head trauma . . . "
I'm sorry, but that's when I'm done. I can't fathom the idea of cheering for this guy on a football field ever again. And I used to live in Blacksburg for a short spell when he was at the peak of his popularity, fresh out of college and leading the Falcons to a playoff victory in Green Bay. I was genuinely glad he was having success and enjoyed what he brought to the game.
You can brush it aside and put it in the past, but the details of what he did will come up again, and it's hard to say, "That was in the past!" when it was so horrible, and, realistically, only a couple years ago, anyhow. Really not that far back. I feel bad for the fans of whatever team he ends up with, if he does indeed play again, because there are going to be some very conflicted people out there who love their team but can't cheer for this guy.

he really did some awful things, but he was never a threat to society.leonard little, pacman, lawrence phillips and a fewe other past or current players in the NFL all were threats to society.vick deserves a second chance.if you give leonard lake who killed somebody driving drunk and pacman 2nd,3rd,and however many chances, vick deserves one too!
maybe he can help the lions win a few games?

I hate what Vick did, but at the same time I will always be a fan of his. The stupid and horrible things he chose to do were just unbelievable but I choose not to give up on him. If Pacman Jones can just be brushed to the side as a knucklehead for all the terrible things he has been a part of, including shootings and being responsible for a man being paralyzed, then why cant Vick get a second chance. Chris Henry is in the NFL again and hes been arrested like 30 times.
