You know, the more I ponder the "loss" (and I use that term lightly) to the Giants last week............THE MORE PISSED I GET!! I have been bombarded with game highlights over the last several days and it's making me sick to my stomach. I don't know about you guys, but this one hurts more than usual, because we clearly out-played the Giants (IMO).

However, that being said, I am VERY PROUD (and encouraged) about this years team (much more so than last year). BUT I NEED A WIN....AND NEED ONE SUNDAY AGAINST THE PATS.......or I'm gonna flip out. I can't take it anymore. Some thoughts:

* Stop the freakin' penalties.

* The OL has to pass protect better.

* Special Teams has got to step up (finally). Morton had a
pretty solid game last week and the coverage teams
slightly better, but we need more consistency from them.

* We have to call better plays in the 4th quarter (and not
pass on EVERY down).

* We need to STOP giving up too many points in the FIRST
HALF.......and play catch-up in the second half.

* The DL NEEDS TO GET SOME PRESSURE ON THE QB (This
is painfully obvious to all of us).

* We need to NOT take New England lightly!!!!

* Continue to establish the run (and don't abandon it
so quickly...if it's working). Mix up the pass plays. Get
Coles/Gardner involved....but don't forget Canidate and
Betts.

* GO SKINS!!!!!!!!!

What upsets me the most is that despite losing the coin toss, we put out our defense (who I consider our "better" side of the ball) to continue what they did in the 3rd and 4th quarter. I would have NEVER guessed they would let a team run and pass all over them on a drive that started on the Giant's own 10 yard line.

Forget the incomplete passes...the TD called back...the missed field goals. Spurrier and the ENTIRE team made an effort to erase the past by getting us into overtime. I feel bad that it came down to our strong D giving up a drive of that magnatude.

You know what's funny from a Giants fans perspective? We feel like we completely outplayed you in the first half, did our best to lose the game in the second half, and still won. That's a frustrating feeling as well.

THANKS MAN, I NEEDED THAT. Yeah, I do need to relax. Might go out and gets some crabs. Kick back. Get a good night's sleep. Go to Church on Sunday and "get a extra blessing". Kick back and watch the game. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Well you outplayed us in the FIRST half (as you noted), but we outplayed you guys (clearly) in the SECOND half. Bottom line to me is; how frustrated can you really be when you actually WIN the game? Concerned, maybe, but frustrated? Great game nonetheless. Good luck with your season. I hope you guys finish in 2nd place, behind us, that is.;)

See here's the problem I have with this. You say you outplayed us in the first half, which is true. But you can't say we outplayed you, you just say you did your best to lose. Why can't fans ever say they were outplayed. Sounds like the Jets fans.

I have a friend who is a New York _________ fan. (Fill in the blank with whoever is better at the moment).

That goes for basball and hockey as well.

Trying to beat Bellicheck in a chess game is hopeless, just ask the Rams. Instead, what you do is whipe the pieces off the board and throw it in his face. In other words, pound the football right down their throats.

My thoughts exactly. Where was the agressiveness we saw in the 3rd and 4th quarter. I feel they were emotionally drained from the comeback and losing the coin toss burst their bubble so to speak.

i know EXACTLY how you feel. the funny thing about being a football fan is that when your team loses, you want them to play the next game the next day so that they can make up for losing and when they win, you want them to play the next day so they can beat somebody else!

Excellent !

As far as the game, I think we all agree that this game is played as smash mouth football, run at them, drop good short passes to throw them off balance, run some more and then let one long one loose to Coles or Gardner.
Defense - PRESSURE THE QB!!!!
In the last game Collins had enough time to go "get 2 beers in the stands" as someone said. Not this game.

SKinsFan1906 - just relax - get some good food ready, go to Church, ( Based on my initimate relationship with the Almighty, I believe in a little prayer!) and sit back and enjoy the game!

The thing is can we play the smashmouth game with Trung back there? I say no, but maybe with Betts, but I might be wrong

I think we have a better chance of playing smashmouth with Betts back there. I'd wear them down with Betts then send Trung in to and have them running sideline to sideline by hitting the edges.
