Not sure if this was posted elsewhere. Also, other tidbits mentioned.

He has deserved it thus far. Just needs to think. No stupid taunting stuff. Go out, get your catch and getback tot he huddle. The best way to taunt is to make the plays!

I just can't let go of that play. If they let that one-handed catch stand last week maybe.

The Ole' Ball Coach must love this kid for real. I thought he had feel out of his good graces with the coach. Good to see he is Reppin' the MEAC while he is in the NFL. That a good job on his part but he does have to stop with the little extra stuff.

The man came back and scored 8 points for the team after the taunting penalty. Clearly he got his head together and moved on. Why can't some of us do the same?

Ummmm, I will give it a shot.

This team has repeated penalties for the last nine years. You think they would have learned now, but they haven't. I am tired of hearing about what "stupid penalties we did" or "we need to stop that" or "we need to play more disciplined"

SHOW ME!

So far they have not

Well, I wouldn't penalize, <<laughing>>, or blame the players this year for nine seasons of undiscipline play. We also had a number of coaching changes as well. Collectively over the nine years I agree with you, but I say let's see if these guys can correct it.

Mark, I think Kenny's point (which I happen to agree with) is that McCants may have caused a big penalty, but at the same time he scored us eight points. Would you rather have both or neither? I'd take both i na heartbeat.

Exactly.

While his penalty did hurt as far as field position, he didn't take points off the board. It was still 1 & 10, and the team had the chance to rebound. He didn't harp on it or get down on himself to the point where he dissappeared after the fact. He stepped it up a notch afterwards in what I have to think was an effort to make up for his transgression.

True. I disagree with you on a ZERO basis here. I guess I just hope the dumb mental mistakes end. I can accept poenalties here and there, thats football, but i want to see this team play smart.

Hey...I've forgiven him. He is young...and the veterans on this team are not setting good examples for him. Regardless, he shouldn't have thrown the ball...but he did make two AWSOME catches to put 8 points on the board.

And Yes...Spurrier LOVES him. After all, he has more TDs than Eric Moulds and Marvin Harrison!

I'm definitely with you in that regard.

I think all the mistakes of this nature has to stop, and I have forgiven him (Trotter is still not) buthe is in his 3rd year when do we say he is not a " young player" he is young in age but he has 3 camp and preseason to learn the NFL game and he along with about another 52 guys need to keep thier heads, and I do not believe that is a "young" thing it is a smart thing. I like McCants and he is gonna make some good plays for us this year.
I guess my rant is not meant ot be directed at McCants he was one of many that are included
