I was wondering what others thought about left 4 dead? I bought it the other day and it seems pretty cool.

Best game ever made, but then again I have a pretty unhealthy infactuation with zombies, so I may be biased. Best zombie game ever made, though :)

I was wondering what others thought about left 4 dead? I bought it the other day and it seems pretty cool.
It's not bad. The gameplay is a bit outmoded in that the controls feel more like a late 90s FPS. However, the game is very addicting and unique. There is virtually no campaign mode, making this a horrible game to play solo, but it's fun to play as the infected. They do need to make the infected a bit stronger and have group respawns to encourage team play, but overall, a good game.
