Ok...I'll say it. This is a MUST win game.

I know it is early in the season....but this is a MUST-WIN game.

Here is why:

*The first quarter of the season looks to be our easiest in strength of schedule. We NEED to get three wins out of the 4.

*We can NOT go into Philly @ the Link as a .500 team. Our confidence could be broken if in a 2 game losing streak. On top of that...we have the Super Bowl Champs to worry about the next week at home.

* Speaking about "home". It is imperative that we go 2-1 in our first 3 home games. If not, our home record could potentially be 1-3 after the Tampa Bay game. That is NOT how you get to the playoffs. Home games are crucial.

* The Patriots are as hurt as any team in the league. It is an opportune time to go out and get the win. If we can't win against at beaten up team, then how do we expect to play against healthy Seahawks and Dolphins down the road?

Let's hear it boys and girls. Do you think this is a MUST WIN? I sure do...

I agree but I think the East teams are much more inportant but I can see what you mean. We should take this game but... Lets see if this is a team like the last 10 years that would get blown out by a wounded team. I think SS might take us over that but I still need more proof of that

dj, I didn't think so until I read your post. But now I do feel like its a must win game....for the reasons you stated above.

I completely agree abou tthe confidence thing you were talking about. We definately need to get this win heading into our next 3 games....Philly, Bucs, and Bills.

i agree. we have to win each quarter to make the post-season. plus, the next 3 games before the bye week can and i think will make or break our season.

Yes, DJ, all of your points are excellent but I give great importance to the above.
I have been and always will be a firm believer in the 4 quarters aproach. This is the most important of all the reasons you listed, IMHO, for this weeks victory.
