I have to mention the amazing plane crash in the Hudson River this afternoon and give praise to the pilot, Capt. Sullenberger (57 yrs old). Just masterful airmanship, as they call it.

I was reminded of the deadly Air Florida crash in the Potomac 27 yrs ago or so. In both cases, the rescue operations were carried live on TV. The Air Florida crash was horrific. The US Airways ditching today is just a miracle.

Thank God no one died. That pilot saved a lot of lives today.

Was reading about it last night...incredible. The pilot should really be proud of himself. He saved a lot of lives.

US Airways probably doc him on his performance metrics for not being "on time". :D

Well done Capt. Sullenberger.
It's always good to read/witness a really bad thing turn good.
