As I tell everyone: I don't believe in Satan, just work for him. Great dental plan and 3 more weeks vacation. I'll talk to the boss about organizing a "re-animate Vinny Cerrato with Ron Wolf's brain" keggar.

Meh... he's not THAT bad
He's made some bad and good moves...
People wanna bring up Malcolm... well most wideouts need a year or two to really get a feel for the pro game. And players have recovered from knee injuries before. Especially when they're young (he's 22, not 35). So we can't call him a bust just yet. And besides, Chris Horton was in the same draft. So he deserves praise for that pick. Now that's not to say i supported the Malcolm pick (because we had already drafted Devin Thomas and we had some more pressing needs), but most of the Skins fans i know LOVED that pick on draft day. Hindsight is 20/20.
The Redskins are a 500 team with 500 talent. If we have 500 talent, then our personnel is average. And if our personnel is average, then the man who assembled them must be average, right? Not good, not bad, but average. And that's why I think Vinny is average. Certainly nowhere near as bad as Matt Millen...
Not to say i wouldn't support a change (because I want a good team rather than an average team). But he can't be as bad as some of yall say.

Would you say that the payroll is about the same as well? Millen just didnt have the same cash that Dan would hand out. The bottom line is the philosophy is the same....draft the best available player. I can't think of too many systems that function on a high level in a CAP system that work that way.
That being said, Your mom is better than Cerrato. :-) And i mean that in the kindest possible way.

Does Vinny Cerrato even realize that most people in the NFL think he is a joke? He really should do the right thing and step down. I know most people wouldn't step aside to let someone esle do their job but In this case he should because that is the only way this orginziation will ever start to get better.

Not ganna happen. If he leaves here he will never get another job in the NFL again. With that much power and pay. So unless Snyder wakes up we are stuck with the worse GM in football.

Is the Skins roster 28 million better than the Texans?
Not exactly a fan favorite but is Charlie Casserly is available? Looking at his last draft, 2006. Status of those players now:
1st Mario Williams - starting DE
2nd Demeco Ryans - starting MLB
3rd Charles Spencer - OT (broke his leg second game into 2006 season, cut in 2008)
3rd Eric Winston - Starting LT
4th Owen Daniels - Starting TE
6th Wali Lundi - cut after a decent rookie season
7th David Anderson - doesnt see the field but must be OK because he's still on the roster
I know this is a little skewed since his picks were lower than ours but he really hit on some positions of need and those needs look familiar. Throwing this out there because we may be picking in the 1st - 5th range after next year. "Charlie Casserly" is better than Cerrato.

I'm tired of Cerrato or Casserly. We need to find a younger coach or personnel expert who has drafted well and we could use for at least 5 years.

If I saw this guy in person, I'm not sure I could restrain myself from physically assaulting him. Our OL is just dreadful. The planned starters weren't that good to start with (and injury prone) and the backups are just dreadful.
For anyone that knows, how many teams in the league would have the following players on their 53 man roster: Batiste, Mike Williams, Heyer, Rinehart, Will Montgomery, Edwin Williams? I feel like we are trotting out guys that wouldn't be in the league if the Redskins didn't exist. Hell, three of those guys are local. Add to the fact that sources inside the team have said the reason for the 2-6 collapse last year was the OL. SO WHY WAS THIS NOT ADDRESSED IN THE OFF-SEASON. Oh, wait, it was. Signed a 400 lb out of the league for the past 3 years tackle was supposed to fix everything.
