we have proved that when we play conservative, we pretty much suck at it. But when we are aggressive, no one can stop us. So why is it that we keep going to the conservative play calling soooo early?

We're definitely going conservative too early. Spurrier's learned to run the ball, now he's gotta learn how soon to use it to bleed the clock. I think after today he'll be better at it.

Spurrier conservative? I would have never believed it if i would not have seen it. Spurrier and conservative dont even belong in the same sentence. This baffles me.

Conservative OR did we just play BAD. I think we played bad. Patrick only completing 10 passes kinda proves the point.
Not being able to out gain a team who was missing 9 starters kinda proves the point.
Penalities (again) kinda proves the point.
I could keep going but I think you get the idea!

I'm wondering if something was wrong w/ Ramsey in the 2nd half - he took some huge hits in this game. It would explain why they ran it so much, or maybe it was just them going convervative.

I think the safeties for NE were simply playing the pass...and Hue/Spurrier had no other choice but to run it up the gut. Had they made a first down doing so...it would have been a different ending to the game. Unfortunately, they did a 3-and-Out.

I'd like to see our O-line make holes in critical lead-saving drives...and I'd like to see our Running backs hit those holes for first downs.

I hope he's not injured...I did see him grab his left shoulder after a hit, but he continued to play.

Point is for this thread, we live by the aggressive behavior, we should die by it too. I like being conservative when it calls for it, but Spurrier called it too early. Hopefully this is just an "inexperienced" coach making a flub up that luckily didn't cost us the game.
