2nd time he's been bruned on a big time play late in the game...
I know there were a few people on this forum singin his praises but from what I've seen, the guy simply sucks. He's slow and can't cover. Another David Terrel in the making. we need to keep this guy off the field before he really hurts us.:smash:

I know they said they were going to make some substitutions but at that point in the game I don't think he should have been in there. He may have shown some potential but we can't afford to go through this every Sunday.
Ade Jimoh would have made it through waivers to the practice squad. If there's one move couldn't understand this offseason when it happened (and it seems to have cost us 2 TDs) .. it was cutting Alex Molden, an average starter, but a good #3 or #4, and kept Jimoh ... who has no place in a regular season NFL game at this point. Terrell would be better subbing in for Bauman at nickelback .. much better.

This is what I have been saying for some time now. If you remember, I started a thread over a month ago, criticizing the cutting of Molden. It didn't make sense then, and it doesn't make sense now. HE WAS A STARTER IN THE NFL FOR SEVERAL YEARS. Yes, he would have made a good #3 or #4. We brought him into camp for a reason...........and I'm sure that the reason was not to cut him. OK, we saved some money on the Cap, but as I stated in August, we should have kept him for the insurance, and placed Ade Jimoh on the practice squad...........so that he could learn WITHOUT being on the field at the same time.

Looking back, I agree. Back then i agreed with the move of keeping Jimoh over Molden. Jimoh showed much promise in camp and in pre-season, but that has disappeared. If were in a situation where a fourth corner is needed, or a rest is needed, at this point, i would rather see Terrell or Lott get the cover.

Jimoh was in b/c somebody went out hurt for a play I think it was Bauman. I'm not a fan of Jimoh but the coverage wasn't bad on that play.

Did anyone pick up Molden? If not bring him back..this guy is stinking up the place.

I'm pissed about the Jimoh TD...but that WR made an AMAZING catch. And I agree taht Jimoh had decent coverage. Not great...but good enough. Its not like he got beat like Champ did last week.

Molden is on the Lions.
The Pats probably prepared themselves if they saw Jimoh in the game to test him deep. The coverage wasn't that bad, but i've noticed him in two plays this year and both times he got beat deep for a TD.
I agree with PSF that right now Lott or Terrell should get a look at the 4th corner spot.

I'd be willing to bet Jimoh made it over Molden due to special teams play. Your fourth cornerback has to play special teams.

I agree, Molden was a little pricey as well. If he had gotten beaten out for the third corner spot there was no reason to keep him on the team.

Got beat both time with the double move. this is usually the easiest way to beat a rookie -- he wants to make a play so bad, he bites on the fake. For someone who bit he did get back and almost made a play.
I too was surprised at Molden being cut.

I thought that was a perfect throw and catch. Other than bumping the receiver at the line, I can't see how you play that any different. I've not viewed the tape yet, was that the only play Jimoh was in?

Jimoh coverage wasn't too bad, but he needs to be more aware that the pas is on the way. He had no clue the ball was coming. If he had put his arms straight up in the air the ball would have hit the back of his arms. At least watch the reciever and realize he is going up for the catch.
