Semi-OT...Funky Four at Fed-Ex....

In the 3rd quarter of the game yesterday (9/28), what do I see? I see a Fed-Ex commercal on the Jumbo Tron with our very own Funky Four.

Cool commercal by 4 cool guys.

Then after the ad was over, we get a little dance by the boys in the endzone.

You guys are great. Even before I became a member of this board, I always thought you guys were something special.

LOL, yes the commercial that prevented Kenny and I from being at the morning tailgate for the Giants game was debutted yesterday. It was very funny and thanks for the kind words. We were a little surprised that they only gave us 45 seconds instead of the 120 that we normally get. Someone even told us we made it on to CBS for a couple of seconds.

Plus I had dinner last night with somebody who told me their kid was a trombone player in the Redskins band.

Yes! Indeed! The Funky Four made it on to CBS - even one of the announcers commented on the Redskins performance and said : "they're dancing in the endzone... they're doin well".

I loved the commercial, but this is not the first time your routine got jobbed by someone. Whoever is pulling the plug on you early needs to have his own plug pulled. I want the full funky experience!

i didn't see the commercal, did they play it across the country or just in the d.c. area. damn it i live in california and we never get to see or hear about the redskins. i wish the funky 4 all the luck and happieness and hope they make more commercals.

I saw it on the Jumbotron at Fed-Ex Field during the 3rd quarter of the Pats game. I don't think it is on TV yet. You will have to ask hail2skins or rskinsfan10 for more info.

IMO, they will just show it in the DC/Mid-Atlantic area since people around here would know who the Funky Four are. I don't think anyone outside of Redskins fans would know who the guys are any where else in the country.

It's more then likely they won't show it on the left coast.

But, then again, I could be wrong.

Just ask my wife and she will tell you that I am wrong MOST the time anyway.:lol1:

I remember my first game at Fed Ex and at one point I saw these 4 guys dancin in the end zone, I thought man I bet security will be there soon, until I realized they were supposed to be there :D

One of my favorite parts of any Skins game, I think they should give you more than 120 seconds maybe like 10 minutes.. you guys rock

Currently, the commercial is only run at Fedex Field. Who knows if the Skins make the playoffs and go deep into it, then you may say it in the region.
