here is a pic of the Coles catch that wasn't. Is that not possession? Aren't two feet in bounds? What a bad call.

Can Anyone get some of the video shots of that? I wanna edit it with some visuals and send a copy to the referees office so that I can teach them what a catch is.

The idiots on TV are still trying to sound smart by vindicating the ruling on the field. I heard one guy say that Coles needed to make a 'football move' before going out of bounds for it to be a catch but CLEARLY the defender is preventing him from doing that, thus fending off a tackler and reaching for the 1st down aren't football moves?!?!?! BS!

Oh and on a related note, L.Coles was being interviewed about the play and he said to the affect that he hoped they won b/c he thought the media would have a field day on HIM about it?!

If I remember correctly, the ref in the back was the first to make the incomplete call. How? Wouldnt' the guy in front of him have better view.

Just think if that was in the middle of the feild it would have been a fumble.

It was bull, the rules on a what constitutes a fumble should apply here as well: possession has been acknowledged when the receiver has taken two full steps; this is exactly what happened here, so the fact that the ball popped loose should no context on whether it is a catch or not.

Just think if that had been the play that made a diffenence in winning and losing the game. Guess we just need to shake it off and be happy with the win. On to Philly! UCK!!

Clearly a catch by Coles. I've seen many a catch like that over the years correctly called with no mention of the nonsense ground can cause a fumble out of bounds propaganda.

If I remember correct, that was a different situation. In that situation, the ground assisted in the completion of the catch. Being the ball bounced back up, into his chest, the ground "completed" the catch. That call I can agree with, although it was very close. The Coles call wasn't even CLOSE!
