Maybe this time "cut" means "wounded deeply"... as in MW's bank account that we padded for nothing during the past 2+ seasons... although he wasnt the only one unfortunately

what are your thoughts on burnette ? too many injuries ? anything left ?

He would have an injury at the wrong time it seemed, a 1/2 game here and there. He was the nickel LBer cause Zach Thomas would come off the field on 3rd downs. He didnt seem to be an everydown player, There was concern that if he was a 3 down LBer: injury concern or getting tired possibly.

He never really made any plays that I can remember and with today's prices just not worth it.
