Draft Day Party

Okay folks, the draft is next month and like last season, we plan on getting together to tailgate and have fun. Several of us (fent, akh, RedskinsDave and others hung out last season in the parking lot cooking and having fun. We went into the stadium when the Skins were due to pick. Surprise, we weren't there long before we return to the lot to continue having fun.

Several other sites (Extreme, redskinsheads and Roadtrips) did the same thing.

I want to get a feel for who would be interested in hanging this year. Let me know if you want it so we can start planning it.

I can laugh during the 1st round (skin pick, boys dont) and you guys can laugh during the 2nd round (boys pick and skins dont).

I brought my Raven friends last year and they were surprised that it was free. Baltimore charged between 15-20 dollars last year for Raven's draft day. Will it be free this year?

That plan was unsuccessful in 2007. Last year we attempted to give him food poisoning the night before the draft. Vinny is shifty.

A few years ago I would have said get a new job, lol. Especially considering that mandatory Sunday work equates to missing a whole lot of football games.

Yes, the plan is to tailgate. As for the time, I estimate the Redskins will pick about 3 hours after the draft starts, so figure we'll be there around then.

Actually members of the National Guard will be there. We (I'm in the DC Air National Guard) were invited to attend the draft day party as VIP's. Some of the festivities include a locker room tour. I'll be there sometime before 10 am so I don't miss anything. I'd love to meet you all.
