For me the tournament shapes up like this
Final Four (From the Mind): Memphis, Pittsburgh, Louisville, Oklahoma
Final Four (From the heart): Arizona, Maryland, VCU, Oklahoma
Sentimental Favorite: MARYLAND, American, Morgan St, VCU, Radford
Dark Horses: Maryland, Arizona, Gonzaga, Westren Kentucky
TO WIN IT ALL: Pittsburgh

I think Both the UCONN Men and Women will win the tourneys this year.

I'm hoping VCU makes a run so they can have a rematch against Duke in the Sweet 16.

After a fun family trip to Kentucky last summer, I'm pulling for the Kentucky teams. Why not...

Radford will probably lose by 25 to UNC, but I'm hoping for a good matchup in the paint between Tyler H. and Radord's Belarus Big Man.

well one of the big reasons i want them to go far is cause i do respect tyler hansborough. he works hard and i know alot of the things that J.J. Reddick had to go trough at duke and i would bet money that hansborough has gone through them too. Like i mean like gettin phone calls in the middle of the night from other fans talkin crap and stuff so i think he deserves it. Especially after breakin J.J.s record today.

I feel so bad for VCU. They were down 12 with about 5 minutes left and they really rallied for that final shot to win it. When Maynor had the ball with 9 on the clock; I had flashbacks to when he drained the jumper to upset Duke 2 years ago. Too bad Collison finally decided to play solid defense on the final possession; as Maynor had no shot. Not to mention the GIGANTIC block from Larry Sanders to set up the final possession. Everything was in place for another great NCAA moment and Collison ended up spoiling it with a fantastic defensive effort.

Kudos to UCLA; although they won't last long in this tourney.

The ACC, aside from UNC and the first year of league expansion, are consistently pathetic in the tournament in recent years. The whining about how few teams get in due to league strength is getting progressively harder to justify.

Maryland hit a brick wall called Memphis. I won't even say nice try but if Memphis is going to shoot 3's like that thoughout ....... they WILL be the National Champs. (I guess I'm happy my wife has them winning it all :rolleyes: )

Ive got Memphis beating Duke in the next round but falling short in the final 4 to UNC...that's assuming Lawson returns obviously.

yeah i got thembeating NC in the hr poll to get to the 4, but losing to Pitt. I gotta tell you I am surprised they have any legs left, and now they get a big rest

Allot of great finishes today ........ And I even got a bracket with 15 out 16 going to the next round. All my brackets - E-8 and F-4 all in tact. Ended the weekend in decent shape.

I only had one bracket (I kinda don't get having more then 1) and all my teams are still in but I'm not holding too much hope to be there at the end. I had Mizzou going to the final 4 but I underestemated UConn, while I don't think Pitt will beat Nova. Everyone and there mother picked NC and Louisville in the final so I don't think that will be enough to win since others had Nova and Uconn in the final 4.

One of these days K is going to realize he isn't winning in March but out-shooting the other teams. He will keep getting between 20-30 wins and he can win ACC Tourney titles but he's not winning the big prize unless he gets a few players who can work the paint.

He's only done well when he's had a dominating inside player(Shelden Williams, Brand, Boozer, Battier, etc etc). His teams now are just 5 shooters who's luck always runs out early.

He should also hire a real big men coach. Wojo has no reason to be coaching "big men".

The 6'8 forward you are referring to actually goes to my high school. He just led our team to the state championship this season as a junior, he really shows a lot of promise.

Michigan State (2) - No surprise even though I didn't have them.
Connecticut (1) - The strongest of the group of #1 and my last hope bracket wise.
Villanova (3)- My wife was the only one I know who had the foresite to pick them (lucky guess). Didn't see them coming.

John Wall...I have it on pretty good information that Roy will be meeting with John Wall tomorrow sometime. Word is that if John can come in and play team ball, he'll get an offer from Coach Williams. Word is that when that happens, he may commit on the spot. I don't believe that personally. But at some point, he'll be a Tar Heel.

The main thing that has kept the Tar Heels away from his is his so called handler, Mr. Clifton. Coach Williams doesn't usually like to deal with handlers for the obvious reasons.

Tomorrow could be interesting for sure.

acutally, we're all sick. We made a day trip to the beach last weekend. Thought I had to work on Saturday but got the day off. So we loaded up the truck and headed to Emerald Isle for the day. Two days later me, Luke, and Sam were coming down with a cold. lol
