Wow, this woman needs to be put on some heavy medication.

One of the things Warner did best was stare down a 300 d-lineman coming at him and standing right in there. If you've seen Brenda (could be a character in the movie Underworld) you'll understand that sadly for Kurt, all that courage won't be enough. Hey I'd be scared to death if I was married to that.

I may be a youngin', but I still can't think of a single thing that scares me more than a wife on some sort of righteous crusade.

What a nightmare! Her "high and tight" might be too high and tight.

Kurt might have to shut off the phone before he leaves. She is hurtin any chance he has of getting his job back... which I think is no chance

Brenda said "we want to play".
Now I remember that Kurt is a QB, but can someone remind me what position Brenda plays?

It sounds like she might already be taking some of them.

Get real!
...the woman is sticking up for her husband...something NO ONE but her will do outta love for the man...everyone else is using him for the money.
How do you know what questions they were asking her? Looks to me as if she answered what she was asked with truth and honesty...don't YOU think he wouldn't mind trading teams?
You all are slamming her because she's a woman and his wife. If this was his agent, or his Dad this thread wouldn't be here.

I am not too fond of Warner himself. I did not intend to offend you AGG, and I apologize if I did.

Hmmm... maybe instead of "righteous" I should have put "embarassing, completely unhelpful, and pointless." I mean, I am talking about Brenda Warner here.

I want to know one thing.......this should clear things up........who initiated the phone call? Did the sports call in show initiate the call? Or was it Brenda Warner?
If the sports show did, then BW has a right to stand up for her husband.
But, if it was BW who initiated the phone call, then she'll come across as medelsome (?) and rightly so.

GIG, never apologize to me about what you say my friend, I never want you guys to think you need to worry about what you say on a sports website because a woman posts there. (In this case, HR.com)
I know there was some discussion about me before I came on this site "Do we want a woman?" So I never want the men here to feel as if they can't say what they want to me, or in a post OK? Also, being older, I don't easiely offend anymore.
So on that note...~grin~ I should be able to say what I want as well, YES? and of course sometimes it will be from a woman's perspective YES? as I did in this thread.
(Joe, you had better hope you are lucky enough to marry a woman who has nothing but your best interest at heart.)
BTW: Brenda Warner is a strong woman, her life story is pretty incrediable and I have nothing but respect for her.

AGG, I absolutely love having you here. Same goes to ladyNRedskinsfan, Riggos#1Ladyfan. I wish we had more women posters here. Its nice to have a womans perspective on sports....
Adrianna (Hope I spelled it right), no I didn't forget about you either. :)

Hey Hey Hey!!! What's going on here? I didn't make this thread for this to turn into a battle of the sexes. Sorry I hadn't checked back in here since I created it.
Lorri, my thinking with posting this was that I think that she doesn't help Kurt's cause with these public displays. It has always been my assertion that she may have caused some tension between he and Martz when she came out last year and rebutted his claim that he told Kurt to see a doctor. Another thing, I believe that the media in St. Louis is using her as a bases to ridicule Kurt. Knowing how men think, I'm sure that there is some snickering going on behind his back within the Rams locker room also. That's why my thinking is she shouldn't be speaking for him in public like that. I don't know her story nor background, and I believe you when you say that it was interesting and that she is a strong woman. IMO, if she chose to not speak for him in public, that wouldn't diminish that strength one bit. It just doesn't make his current situation any better, rather I believe that it further strains it.

Oh, and one more thing. As far as I can recall, there was never a hR Board Meeting where we discussed whether or not we should go along with the current times and allow women membership here. Now, whether or not Mark is a punk has been a topic with much debate, and it is a topic that still hasn't been resolved. Never ever have we sat around thinking whether or not women should be allowed here. Besides, how would we know if you didn't tell us?:D

Of course she was sticking up for her man but what she did wasn't very bright at all, man, woman or combo of the two. If Kurt wants a trade, he'll will turn to his agent and get it done the right way. She should have known that nothing good would come out of her statement and despite what she was thinking, wasn't helping her husband at all.

Lorri tappin her fingers...rolling her eyes...petting the boys on their heads...
My fellow Redskin brothers, I'M NOT UPSET!!!!!
redskinfan10, I think I'm the one who turned this into a battle of the sexes. ~grin~
PS: The thing about the girls on board the board, was overheard at the tailgate party and related to me...So it's only hearsay and I've NEVER felt anything but welcomed here!!!!!!! So I dismissed it.

BALONEY!!!
No one is looking out for this man but his wife. Why was he playing with a broken hand last year and a concussion this year? Why is he taking all the pot shots? Where's this so called agent?

That sort of stuff happens in football and has been happening for years. Under normal circumstances yeah, she should have stuck up for him but these aren't normal circumstances and therefor, what she did probably didn't help. That's what she should have known.

Believe me, AGG, I'll definitely be going for a woman who has my best interest at heart, but is also chock full of this little thing I like to call tact.... ;)
Anyway, I'd say Martz was looking out for Warner, he gave him more than every opportunity. There isn't much anyone could have done if Kurt constantly insisted he had no pain when he threw.

I'd be very curious as to who was overheard saying that, because this is news to me. PM me if you wish.
