He's been into MMA for years now. He fought Jarrod Bunch (NY Giants FB/RB) a few years ago and won by RNC (rear-naked choke).
Pretty neat to see him again though. He's still a helluva athlete despite having that bum knee that he never recovered from. I believe it was in Detroit?

I can't remember what year it was but I will never forget the overtime game vs Arizona and Westbrooke caught that long TD pass for the win.
won by RNC (rear-naked choke).
i think i can safely say that i can go my entire life without having this move explained and i'll be perfectly happy.

Not surprising. I remember during training camp when he announced he had taken up Kung Fu to get him ready for football season. I just rolled my eyes. I knew this guy was bs. If I think of one player that epitimizes the clear decline of the Skins franchise it would be Westbrook.

And that's all you can point to besides that Hail Mary from Kordell Stewart at Colorado for the win against Baby Blue. He sucked from the moment he enter the NFL and I hate what he did to Stephen Davis.

Another wasted pick on WR. Part of a long list of flash players instead of concentrating on the trenches where the NFC East battles are won....
He's dead to me.

Westbrook was just an out and out bust and had nothing to do with the lines or the QB situation. He just didn't want to play in the NFL and if you put him on the modern-day Colts, he'd still have sucked.

Agreed 100%. I was simply making the point that if we had put some of our picks toward the lines (either one) the team would have been better. Self-centered, egotistical, immature and below players like M. Westbrooke kept this team down. Wrong player, wrong position, wrong coach.

I heard he didn't want to do MMA anymore because he thought he might kill someone because he was so dangerous

You got it except the year was 1997. BTW, did somebody say he was the master of the rear naked choke hold? That doesn't sound too good.
