State taxes are going up everywhere. And where they're not going up de jure, they're increasing de facto via red light and speed cameras. Those just got approved to go state wide in Maryland. Ugh.

what the hell does that have to do with the point of the thread....nothing but you never make sense anyways.
anyways back to my boy Dan, that is totally him. He is a big nerd and has a wry sense of humor. He came to a couple of my improv nights and had some of the best audience suggestions before he got into Congress.

I don't live in New York so I don't know the tax rates. I know that NYC is expensive as hell for daily living. Boston too. I'm actually glad I don't live in those places for other reasons, though.

This is the guy you worked on the trail for, right? Can't you get some of that stimulus grease for your theater productions? National Endowment for the Arts and all that? :D

they arent going up in Washington State because we dont have an income tax.. even gregoire, our leftist governor understands it would lead to a recall if she had anything to do with one being enacted.. they get their taxes elsewhere for sure, but it wont be an income tax...

shally, hi ~ ~
i'm glad to hear they don't have a state income tax in WA. if i had to guess; i think the property taxes &/or the sales tax might be going up. i hope i'm wrong.
as far as ny , well, there might be some folks in ny " relocating " . the gov. of ny has decided to increase the ny state taxes. his plan will increase income taxes for new yorkers making more than $500,000 a year by 31%. if you make between $250,000 & $500,000 : your increase will be 14.5%.
folks will find other ways to get around this. just like they did in calif.
cheers ~ ~
