After two trials and a defense team that tried to hide evidence(even trying to steal it from the crime scene) and suborn perjury multiple times, Los Angeles county proved that it has a functioning judicial system.

15 to life+3-10 years. Good riddance.

exactly what my wife said...

as they say in the Harry Bosch novels: everybody counts, or nobody counts.. the women he killed was a sad example of what can happen in the LA lifestyle... but she deserved better than what happened to her.. at least in death, she and her family will get some justice

i hope he is put in the sex offender wing of prison and gets back what he did to so many women (rumored for years)..

there was worse.. i saw some links to the actual death photos.. just an awful end to what was once a beautiful woman. just sad. should brought a lot of misery onto herself, but no one deserves the end she had.. and for that scum to insist she committed suicide.. just disgusting. he is both crazy and evil..

I watched a great deal of the first trial on Court TV, and they showed those photos of her body (some stuff was censored). Can't believe how stupid that first jury was.

The thing about Lana Clarkson is that she was a beautiful, single 40 yr old woman who never gave up her dream when she really should've. If she had lived anywhere but Southern California, she could've married a very successful man and led a nice comfortable life instead of working shifts at the House of Blues in the beauty and youth capital of the nation. Tragic.

Very sad. Sad for the victim, Ms. Clarkson, obviously.
Musically speaking, Phil Spector is deserving of the genius label bestowed upon him. It is too bad that with that genius came psychosis bordering on (or crossing over into) serious mental illness.
