We got sick of the crappy blogspot layout, the hate mail and it was way too junked up, so we've moved DFA to:
http://draftacademy.wordpress.com/
Please update your bookmarks.
Also, we have two new contributors to introduce:
Meatsnack and WinnpegSkinsFan
They'll be bringing their usual insight and wit for us. Thanks guys!
And so you actually have something to read on the new blog, here's my top 10s for 2010:

Wow...Devlin at #4 in QB rankings. That does not compute.

After Bradford, Snead and Robinson, the Qb prospects are dogs with a bunch of fleas. Devlin has a ton of ability, and will get the chance to show that at Delaware. I think he's a better pure prospect than Tebow(I dont think Tebow's NFL chances are that good).

Heck, after Bradford I think the QB prospects head south. I'm a PSU fan and the guy physically (because he didn't play much) didn't impress me. I'll also say he couldn't beat out Daryl Clark, who like Mike Robinson is just a college Qb.
He did put up video game-like numbers in college.

Watch Zac Robinson, he's the real deal.

If he flops at Delaware, no one will touch him in the draft or undrafted, but there's a lot of people watching him-fair or not-because of Flacco.

He originally gave a soft verbal to Miami. I guess you can't blame him for backing out of that since they have hit the skids of late.

Akh are you saying Mays will go #1? Has a safety ever gone #1?

They went away from what made them great: athletes. Shannon is a good coach who won't recruit major criminals, but he doesn't believe in the Butch Davis recruiting system(taking a guy and moving him to a position less athletic so that he's bigger/faster than what opponents are used to).

I don't think the Raiders are picking #1 next year. If I had to guess: Jets, Tampa, Bills or 49ers.

I think you are over-rating Ras-I Dowling. He is super inconsistant. He is a blanket on one play and gets burned on the next. I wouldnt' even consider him one of the ACC's best CBs...let alone the entire nation.

Maybe not, but of the draft prospects, he(and Lindley) are the best of a bad bunch. If Dowling struggles though, he'll stay in school another year, but his measurables as just off the chart: someone will find a position for him in the NFL--maybe at FS.

what are the odds either oak, buff, denver or sf moves up for a QB?
what are the odds either oak, buff, denver or sf moves up for a QB?
i would say oakland depends on who's calling the shots (Al or Cable), buffalo depends on who the new staff is, denver seems a little unlikely, and San Fran got enough production from Smith at the end of the year that they may want to give him one more year and see what happens. so all in all, who the heck knows??? ;)
of the 4 listed though, San Fran would have the easiest time (2 firsts), and in order of likelihood from most likely to least I'd probably rank them as Buffalo, San Fran, Oakland, Denver.

If NO OLinemen have been picked after 3 or Suh is available, I wouldn't be surprised if the 49ers packaged their picks to move up. They have a BIG need for a new O tackle and/or a NT like Suh.

Nice job ... where do you think Toby Gerhart ranks among the RBs? I noticed he didn't make your top 10.
And what are the preliminary thoughts on LeFevour, what round do you think he'll go in?

Cable is meeting with Davis today, and he might be the only one who doesnt think that Al will fire him..
Al wants Russell desperately to be a franchise qb.. Maybe he can get Zorn to develop him ?

He hasn't even been able to meet team weight requirements for his position. If Zorn can't help Campbell highly doubt he could assist Russell.

my bad .... i should have indicated my sarcasm.... as bad as Zorn is, no one can help an unmotivated QB who, reportedly, showed up bloated and overweight..
