I voted for a close Redskins win. We haven't blown out anyone yet and I don't see it starting this week. [Or next week either.]

I voted what I "want" to see. The offense finally coming together completly...does it happen, I don't know, but thats what I hope.

I am hoping for a blowout. I am tired of these nail-biters.

Agree with Spence just because its the Eagles and a division rivalry game.
Both teams are out to prove something - the Eagles that they ARE a good team and that first win in the new stadium "The Linc" (which I understand alot of their fans are now calling it the Stinc), and Skins that we are also a "For Real" good team and deserve RESPECT.

I like Green is good's handle, although the green I am talking about is Eagle green. For once you picked the wrong week to play an opponent. While we are banged up like all the other teams you guys have played, the Limbaugh controversy will spur McNabb to new hights. When he is focused he usually has a great game, so I am expecting a high scoring contest, with McNabb being the difference.

He does not need Rush Limbaugh to focus on a game. I can still recall what he did to us last year in week two. He didn't need Rush then, just the chance to kick the crap out of a division opponent. [Also see just about every game he has ever played against Dallas.]

I think McNabb is going to be distracted. He's going to hear about it all day.

I voted for a close win. But I am VERY nervous about this game. When we played the Eagles last year, we went in with high hopes and they stomped on our hopes...then picked up the pieces and made slivers of us, and then picked up them slivers to make ashes out of us.
So my optimistic side says we're better than they are, but it will be close due to division rivalry.
My pessimistic side remembers that pounding and feels that the eagles are a sleeping giant, and a crushing win over the Skins is just what they need. McNabb will not be distracted because he's too good a qb, and we could be in for a tough one.
(I hope my optimistic side wins!) :D

Man, after this RUSH stuff, I am starting to feel funny about this game. I just feel as though the Eagles will come up fired up. Not only because of the Rush stuff, but also because they haven't won at "the Linc" yet. I hope that we win, but I'm not as confident as I would like. I think that the KEY OF THE GAME WILL BE HOW OUR DEFENSE PLAYS. I don't have many concerns with our Offense.

Close game but Skins win.
McNabb's thumb injury
and I think the Skins finally met someone who's OL is as bad as theirs, difference being...we have LaVar

I could be wrong but I really think it will be a blow out....Remember guys, we have safeties who can tackle now. Even if Mcnab breaks a few he'll get his head taken off by bowen or Iffy. I'll say 38-21 skins, with the eagles scoring a TD late to make it appear closer than it really was. I just don't think Philly can hang with our "O" at this time. Ramsey had a decent game against them last year so...I think(and hope) it will be different this time around.

Someone said the Eagles will be fired up, and they will defintely be ready for this game, but remember, they were fired up for their game against the Bucs as well, and we all know what happened there.

Maybe we'll score 28 in the first quarter and slide into our "prevent" defense from the second quarter on! :D

I had to vote for a close nailbiter win by the Skins. But to be truely honest I'm afraid of the opposite, Eagles blow us out of the water. I guess it's hard for me to imagine us beating the Eagles when they have dominated NFC East mostly the last few years. But this will be the best team we have put against the Eagles in a long time, I think we will do it.

I think it'll be a close win. What else from our Skins?

I think that no experience in the secondary= lots of points for the Redskins. I also think C Morton is due for a BIG runback.

the best defense is a good offense, at least in this game. in the last few gams against the eagles, we have been overpowered and turned the ball over numerous times, leading to eagles pts. we have an explosive offense (i love saying that!) and its the perfect time for the skins to have a 60 minute break out win, especially with the eagles 2ndary possibly having 3 starters missing. the skins need to run the ball right at the eagles and then throw some bombs after the run softens up the eagles defense. the one thing that bothers me about the fact that those starters will be gone is that that may lead the eagles to blitz more knowing we have a hard time picking it up. that will help the young guys out if ramsey doesnt even get a chance to throw the ball....
