www.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider that the team has cut FB, jonothan evans

Could it be for the signing of Orakpo and/or Jarmon?

I don't even remember signing this kid, and I try to keep up with the roster!

I wonder if that fullback (actually wasn't it a TE we wanted to move to FB?) we signed in the draft has recovered from his injury.

i dont think he has.. my guess is that he ends up on PUP , or waived injured, then onto the PS

I guess this means that they think Seller's still has some gas left in his tank. Just don't try to jump over the pile!

exactly.. Sellers has one more year.. after that, my guess is that they try and go younger and cheaper..plus, he really doesnt fit the mold of a WCO fullback. he is not that good a receiver and is zero running threat.

On another unrelated note I wish Jason Reid would stop calling himself The Mayor.

Probably making room for upcoming signings this week (still have two that need to be brought aboard) .............PLUS Eddie Williams (rookie out of Idaho 6-1, 249) might have made enough impression to boot off a Evans.

I would disagree with some of those statements. I don' think Sellers is a good goalline back because he tries to get too cute but he definitely has had plenty of success carrying the ball and catching it.

he fights the ball and is not a natural hands receiver

he takes forever to get to the line and is useless as a runningback unless there is a huge hole.. how many 4th and 1 or even 3rd and 1 can you remember sellers converting ? i am struggling to think of any.. it is because he is so slow to build up speed..
