just reported at www.theredzone.org

reserve QB Kevin Kolb was carted off the field with a possible ACL tear this morning.. NO CONFIRMATION YET.

but if true, this makes the third Eagles player with an ACL tear this camp: Bradley (MLB) and Ingram (TE)

we have nothing to complain about thus far...

If anything like the previous injuries, I think this might increase Philly's chances to go undefated in the eyes of the media.

Yes Coach Reid this is Michael Vick.

I would love to come back up D Mac for one year and take over next year.

I will be there tomorrow.

just so people dont think we are the only ones.

another article in the eagles section of www.theredzone.org
points out that OC marty morningweig is complaining about the eagles offense being totally out of sync in camp.. this is with an offense that set records for points last year, has an established QB and receiver corps, and who spent big bucks on the offensive line this offseason..

maybe it is just a feature of offenses at this time of year ?? or maybe, they are just missing correl buckhalter..lol

They can't get an o-line together, no Westbrook, DeSean Jackson left with a sprained knee....lots of missing pieces there.

Hank Baskett carted off the field. The Eagles' TC is turning into an episode of the Gong Show.

ouch !

this is shaping up to be the equivalent of the disaster that Jax had last camp/preseason.. their season was wrecked before it ever got started..

and that doesnt even include the reports that shawn andrews can get his back to settle down.. that lingers on from last year..

Hey, at least he wasn't a janitor... (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/08/11/some-cry-foul-over-eagles-81-man-roster/)

The news that the Eagles signed 31-year-old quarterback Matt Nagy on Monday after backup Kevin Kolb suffered a knee injury has caused grumbling in some league circles.

The fact that Nagy has been working with the team as a coaching intern means that he's far more prepared to make a contribution than any other potential quarterback candidate would be.

"Talk about roster stashing," one league source said. "They have a guy who has been attending meetings and who knows what else?"

Here's an example of "what else." Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News points out that Nagy had been throwing passes to running back Brian Westbrook as Westbrook worked out on his own while recovering from ankle surgery.

the guy is 31 years old with essentially no resume as a qb in the nfl ?? please.. not exactly the type of signing to inspire fear and trepidation among other nfl teams

Sounds like us as far as players being available for practice and the resulting lack of synchronization. But 2 on IR to our ) is encouraging (fingers triple crossed).

Maybe not, but it looks like the NFL moved quickly to avoid other teams from doing the same thing by disallowing his contract.

also there was a brief report from PFT coming out of philly.com that Todd Herremans (OL), has a foot related problem (stress injury ??) that will keep him out through the preseason.

that makes yet another eagle starter down with an injury for now..
