Hey all, I may have two tickets to the game tonight. If I can get the tickets, is there anything I should know about M&T Stadium? Do I need a parking pass? I'll be driving up from Salisbury Md. I kind of need someone to lay it out for me. I haven't been to a game in YEARS, and I've never actually driven to one or been in charge of making all the arrangements.

Thanks in advance guys/gals!

(mods please move this if its in the wrong section)

DONT GET MUGGED IN THE GHETTO

seriously, park up the hill past Camden yards in one of the parking garages...its easier and safer. Other than 1 parking lot over there, you have to drive through some rough spots of Bmore to get in and out. GOOD LUCK!

Little off topic, but did they have to tear down "Hammerjack" to build the football stadium in Baltimore? Spent a lot of drunken friday/saturday nights there in the early '90s. :)

And yes, that is a bad part of town. Be careful.

I'd make sure you were up to date on your vaccinations.

now hold on a sec...I know it's a bad part of town, I grew up in the DC metro area and spent alot of time in Baltimore (admittedly the fells point section lol). I've only been down here in the sticks for 5 years!!! I've just never been to M&T and haven't been to the Yards in years....Just looking for tips and hints on the stadium experience, parking, quickest way in/out etc.

Either way. I would park North of Camden Yards and walk down. Theres only one lot at M&T that you dont have to go through some really rough spots to get to. Leaving a night game is that much worse.

GOOD LUCK!

I've never been there before either. Been up in the area but not to the stadium. I normally take 295 N (BW Parkway). Soon as you get into town, you see people directing you. Sorry I can't be more help.

Yep tore it down to build stadium. Hammerjacks reopened off of 83 near sonar. Now renamed Bourbon Street.

well, thanks for all the tips guys, much appreciated. Unfortunately, or, fortunately in retrospect, I wasn't able to get those tix so I missed out on yet another underwhelming Redskins effort.
