I hate Cowterd, but he doesn't remotely reach my hatred towards Rome.

Have you seen that Sports Nation show on ESPN...it is weekdays around 4pm I think. It is a terrible show, but Colin doesn't actually come off like a complete douche like he does on the radio.

He's right there with Cris Collinsworth.

I actually like Collinsworth. Plus he gets points for actually playing organized sports in his life.

He grates my nerves just like Rome; IMO they're both stick up the arse know-it-all types... They both are SO in LOVE with themselves.

Cowherd is a complete douche. His radio show is horrible. His tv show is horrible. His opinions are moronic. He says stuff just to get a reaction. He is the classic sportscaster who never played sports. I hate Colin Cowherd.

So what does it for you? His non stop ranting or his lack of any real insight?

If I have to struggle through 28 minutes of commercials per hour or whatever it is on sports radio, it won't be to listen to the likes of Rome or Cowherd, that's for sure.

I don't know, I haven't listened to sports radio much for years because of clowns like Rome and Cowherd in between the onslaught of commericials.

One thing I do know is that Al Goldi doesn't actually breathe when he gives the sports scores on the updates. It's like he has one breath and then he says everything while expelling as little air as possible so that when he gets to the bottom of his breath his voice has that distinctive iron lung sound that makes me want to go Bear Jew on him lol.

Not living there I don't know, but it is not uncommon for new formated stations to play less commercials at the beginning to suck you in and then gradually increase the number and frequency of commercials.

Every time I see Goldi on Washington Post Live, I'm reminded what the phrase "You have a face for radio" really means...what a fugly dude.

Jim Rome is the absolute worst. There is nobody anywhere on his level of suck except for Deion Sanders. I don't think I've ever heard him open his mouth without it making me hate him just a little bit more. He's an idiot in every sense of the word and I can honestly say I don't understand how anybody can appreciate what he has to offer the world of sports.

The strange thing with him is that he'll make a point that I agree with, but he'll change my mind and I'll start playing devil's advocate in my head just because I don't want to agree with him, lol.
