per www.theredzone.org.... all of a sudden, the deepest unit on the Giants is getting hit with injuries

Osi is coming off knee surgery and is going slow
Robbins is also slowly coming off knee surgery
J Alford sustained a probable ACL tear and is lost for at least 2 weeks, and possibly the season depending upon what happens
C Canty has a Hamstring Tear, and not a pull. no timetable for his return
Rocky Bernard also has a hamstring injury
Kiawanukah has an ankle sprain believed to be mild

we might just be catching them at the right time to start the season ?????

of course, they have a tradition of making miracle recoveries at our expense over the years, but they looked very flat against the Bears last game...

i always seems to work out that way.. the giants season is on life support; and then they proceed to get healthy against us...

lol.. when you are saving Marv Lewis' job, and trying to save Haslett's, that is pathetic

i bet Spags and Schwartz just can wait to play us..

It won't matter. We'll play down to their level anyway.

absolutely true.. they could face us with their third teamers and still we would sink to that level..

Well, we have the Giants for the second week of the season in the grand opening of Jerryworld. If Canty is hobbled, we'll see it because Bigg Davis is going to put him to work. Ross not being able to go is another bonus....sucks, but injuries are a part of the game.

+1. We let teams stay in until they begin to believe and we begin to doubt.

if we miraculously pull off an upset, the Giants are going to be in an ugly mood coming down to Jerry World

if nothing else, i expect we are going to physically work over the Giant offense. our defense is going to punish some teams this year, win or lose

Let's just hope it's not 2004 all over again. That defense was a beast but the offense was horrible. If I remember correctly we scored over 30 points in 1 game that year. Now that I think about it, we didn't score over 30 points in any game last year. Yikes! Oh well.

Hey, I'm usually a positive guy around here. :) Just because we play down to our opponents, doesn't necessarily mean we'll lose.

if we cant beat teams, at least i would enjoy watching us tear up some teams.. like the old chicago bears or new orleans saints under jim mora..
no one wanted to play them because even if you won, you lost (players)
