I see our best game of the season this week, Ram throws over 300 yds with 3 tds. Coles has a huge game with 135 yds and a td. And betts and canni have a combine yds yds of 90 yds and a td. Eagles stuggle with their secondary stoping out wideouts and mcnabb has trouble with his wideout in getting insync. Skins win and go 4-1 and take sole position in the east! Skins 31 Eagles 13

Sorry guys after this week you will be calling him Patrick Lambsey. Spurrier gives up the run and throws the ball 40 times with 8 runs for balance. Ramsey has 3 TD's and 4 Int's. McNabb matches the 3 TD's in the air and 1 by Rush (dedicated to Limbaugh). Akers kicks 3 FG's and the BIrds win 37-27. I'll post back on Monday to offer my congratulations or condolences.

Nothing better than a little smack talk, eh? :D I'm game.
Nah...The only way Patrick would be called "Lambsey" is if he posted numbers like McNabb has in his first three games. You know....like throwing for under 50%, throwing ZERO TDs despite throwing three INTs all in the span of three games?

Redskins will break out this game, McNabb will be ineffective.

Our three wins have come against teams that were wounded. The Birdmen are flying on less than two healthy wings, but, I would say that, as reported in the Post, Spurrier has good reason to be a little worried. No prediction here except I don't expect a big win. Go, Skins!

Skins 21 Greenbirds 17
Another low-scoring affair, with the skins giving us another "big" victory, and another ulcer. We go up 21-3 to begin the 4th, only to Ade Jimoh get smoked by Thrash, twice, to make it 21-17. We recover the onside kickoff and kneel 3 times for the win.
PS-great to be back, missed all the great banter, here.

Welcome back resdog56, glad you're around.
Ahh, Sin City. Some on this board would call it my second home.

Nothing like free booze, dollar blackjack, and 3.99 buffets. Oh, and Elvis! Great to be back!!! Can't wait to get back to Maryland (my homeland) and see a game. Maybe next season, unfortunately my newborn takes up the majority of time, but I never miss a game and my "little guy", watches with me.

Hey eagles2000 how do you figure ramsey throwing 4 pics to this beat up philly secondary? Come on man! And plus your calling him patrick lamsey? Wow look at what your qb is doing this year! Does he have a td yet? You did get something right in saying ramsey will throw 3 tds but not the pic part. Skins will prevail making the eagles contenders to PRETENDERS! GO SKINS!!

Alright, here we go. The game will open up with the Redskins winning the toss. We'll get the ball. Ramsey will be sacked twice in the first drive, which will result in only one first down before a punt. The Eagles will drive for a field goal off of a ridiculously lucky McNabb run in which the Redskins manage to make an entire home video of how not to tackle on a single play. The Skins will get the ball again and drain the clock with a ground-based attack that pushes into Philly territory, but again results in a punt. The Eagles will manage to score a touchdown on this drive off a screen that goes the distance.
Down 10-0, Washington will get the ball and begin their drive soon before the first quarter ends. Early in the second, on the same drive, Ramsey will throw a bomb to Gardner, who will make a strong leaping grab over an Eagles defender to score. The Eagles will sputter on their next two drives, and John Hall will nail a field goal with less than a minute to go to knot the game at 10 apiece.
The Eagles will return the second half kickoff into Redskins territory and will score with Duce Staley pounding the ball in at close distance. Washington will answer right back on a deep throw to Coles, who will have several steps on the defending corner and make it all the way to paydirt. One more Philly field goal will bring the score to 20-17 at the end of the third quarter.
The final period begins with Trung's long-awaited breaking of The Big One. A 62-yard dash leaves Eagle defenders gasping for air and Washington with their first lead of the game. Philly will come within one with another field goal, and John Hall will miss a 56-yarder that would have extended the Skins' lead to four once again. Late in the quarter, McNabb will lead his team down the field for yet another field goal, putting the Eagles up by two. Ramsey will take the field with less than two minutes on the clock and all three timeouts remaining, and proceed to march 74 yards to the end zone, the drive culminating in a 12-yard pass to McCants on second down with eighteen seconds remaining. The Eagles will make a last gasp effort with two consecutive hail marys, but both will fall short. Washington will leave the Linc one game further ahead of its division opponent.
Final score: Washington 31, Philadelphia 26.
Specific enough for you? :D

the Eagles are already walking an emotional tightrope while trying to get their first win at the new home at Lincoln "Memorial" (property of Washington,DC?? *grin*) and given all the media flap over McNabb and their weathervane fans, all would take is a Philly QB turnover or a 14 point lead (which is a distinct possibility given their depleted secondary) and this could get pretty/ugly right quick-like.
as for the Redskins:
One concern was that rookie cornerback Ade Jimoh surrendered a 29-yard touchdown pass late in the third quarter two weeks after allowing a 42-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter of a win at Atlanta.
"We had a little talk about that," Spurrier said. "He says he needs to get into the flow of the game. I said, 'Well, we can't trust you to get into the flow of the game by playing more, the way it's going right now.' He plays well in practice but, for some reason, in the games he lets them run right by him. We've got to be smart enough to not put him in that situation. The smartest thing to do is to not put him out there, to tell you the truth." . . . = = = http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A19418-2003Sep29.html
Redskins coaches apparently are considering having reserve defensive end Ladairis Jackson in uniform Sunday to help with the pass rush. = = = http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A36777-2003Oct2.html

very nice joedaschmoe ........ but I hope that we don't have that close of a game... I really think we'll start out slow in the first quarter as always. maybe even losing 6-0 by the start of the second quarter. but by the mid second quarter I think we'll see Patrick starting to heat up and our defense in shut down mode. by the half I think it'll be 10-6. or maybe I hope. anyways onto the 3rd quarter: McNabb makes some plays with his feet but they only result in field goals. Ramsey is making some sweet plays to Gardner and Coles and we go into the 4th up by 12 with the score 24-12. Hmm....in fourth Canidate / Betts starts ripping some big runs and McNabb & Co. start suffering from hurried passes, misreads, and interceptions. The final whistle goes off, with the 'skins emerging victorious 34-15

I have a bad feeling about this game. Yes the Eagles are hurt but Andy Reid's teams have always been very disciplined and this years Redskins in anything but.

I hope im wrong but i dont see us winning this one.The Eagles probably need it more and they have a better team than thier record indicates.I still see us being a 9-7,10-6 team at best this year.I'll say the score will be 20-24 Eagles.Just trying to keep it real were not going to go 15-1 and this game worries SS for a reason.
