I wouldn't put this past Danny and Co., but I don't think this move needs to, or would, be made in the middle of the season.

More than likely this isn't a sign that Shanny is on board or being courted.

Plus, I don't know if I want Shanny either so maybe its my bias hoping it isn't the case

The stubborn ignorance of Snyder is mind numbing. Anything short of him washing his hands of any involvement, other than signing checks and firing Vinny, in lieu of a real football authority (not ****ing Pepper Rodgers or any other toe sucking clown), will resort in more of the same.

Shanahan isn't the HC right now for 2 reasons:


1. Danny's ego: If he fired Zorn after last year, then he'd have been raked across the coals in the media. Zorn, after all, went 8-8 and had a 6-2 record at one point, he deserved a 2nd chance, and the media would have crucified Danny for firing him.

2. Shanahan is still getting paid by the Donkeys.

Adam at NFL said yesterday he knew about the plane being there and checked into it and confirmed it wasn't a visit to Shanny.

i have a feeling that shanny is now the front runner to be the next skins coach,but who knows when?i found this on espn,and it sounds like a typical dan snyder bull$**t tactic to me.

I've received several e-mails regarding a Redskins corporate jet landing at a small airport near the Broncos' practice facility. The obvious speculation is that owner Dan Snyder may have been reaching out to local resident and former Broncos coach Mike Shanahan.

Well, Redskins PR chief Zack Bolno attempted to shoot down the rumors Monday, saying several other companies use the jet for business purposes. We'll keep our eye on this situation for you. I'm planning to visit with quarterback Jason Campbell via phone this week. I'll let you know what his thoughts are.

Speaking of Tom Cruise, I was at the game in Detroit on Sunday and he was there. Anyone know if he was there as a guest of The Danny? Or just b/c his wife Katie Holmes' family lives in Toledo, OH?

Shanahan will end up in Dallass. That's just the way it is. Jerry has it hard for Shanny, and I don't think Danny can offer more than what Jerry will. Plus Shanny enjoys the western living, that DC can't offer.

I have no way to publicly confirm this or explain it but I honestly have a good reason to believe that Snyder and Shanny met in the hanger of this airport late at night for a few hours and then went their separate ways. Believe me or do not. Just thought some people would be interested. I gain nothing from posting this and I am not making this up or trying to flame the situation. :Peace:
