The mediocrity that you will see later this week merits prefacing.

[Raheem Morris]
He has destroyed the Buccaneers organization. Yes, destroyed. He has cut legends, fired brilliant offensive minds and changed the defensive system (which produced 10 top 10 defenses in 11 years) in the name of "Change". Sound familiar?
He has worked for and in conjunction with....
The Glazers. (worst owners in the NFL - been cheapest team since 2002).
The Glazers needed two young, inexperienced "yes men" to accept the position of death. Running the cheapest team in the NFL is not the goal of Gruden (who was fired because he voiced his opinion at their frugality) or any other tenured coach that will warrant consideration next season (Cowher, Holmgren, Shanahan).
As for the game...the Buccaneers will and should lose. By any fluke chance that they do win...blame your Redskins players for failing, don't credit the Buccaneers at all. There is NO REASON why the Redskins should not win by 30. The Giants had the kindness to run the ball 40+ times and burn the clock, not only shutting us out but saving us some pride (if getting shut out at home can justify any pride).
If there was a game for Jason Campbell to Get Right™ it would be this game.
The Buccaneers defensive line is the worst in the league. Former top 5 pick Gaines Adams has registered 5 tackles, no sacks, and very few QB hurries this season (3 games). Former top 10 pick Ryan Sims is a starter. He is the epitome of journeyman. Complete utter trash. A fat POS that can't commit at the point of attack and can't tackle. Wilkerson is solid at best but disappears for games at a time. Chris Hovan is a big RAH-RAH! guy but sucks during games. He spends more times on his ass than on his feet.
The Buccaneers secondary is the worst in the league. Strong safety Jermaine "Flip" Phillips is out for the season. Free safety (and pot head) Tanard Jackson is out with a suspension until next week. #2 corner Ronde Barber has performed admirably but he is obviously missing steps from years past. #1 corner Aqib Talib is obviously very physically gifted but is getting abused both down the sidelines and on inside routes. He also won't tackle for some reason.
The backups are the worst in the league. Across the board. Elbert Mack, the nickle-corner is an undersized, undrafted free agent sophomore that gambles. He has already cost the team multiple points. Sabby Piscitelli is the worst safety in the league. He has cost the team three touchdowns already. All on deep routes. He peeks into the backfield and gambles (wrongly). Obviously, a lot of this falls on the D-Line and the lack of pass-rush but a lack of talent in the secondary is more prominent IMO. Will Allen can pack a punch if given the opportunity but he seeks these opportunities out instead of letting them come to him. Out of position a lot.
The linebacker corp is solid even though it's leader is playing out of position. Barrett Ruud is solid but he's no longer being put in positions to makes plays on the ball. Expect some ineffective blitzes from the undersized OLBs.
This is not hyperbole.
Zorn's horrific playcalling could not nullify the pure talent discrepancy.
I would like to be in-depth on the offense but it will be even worse than the defense. So....
I'll be brief.
Antonio Bryant shouldn't play but if he does he is on a bum knee. Won't make a positive difference.
Michael Clayton aka Stone Hands aka "I'd rather block" aka I'm Stealing a Paycheck won't make a difference. He has no ability to separate and if by some chance he touches a ball it'll be dropped or he'll go 5 yards then run out of bounds. Won't make a positive difference.
Kellen Winslow II. He's by far the best player on the team. Fast as hell and a big boy. Your LBs will need safety help. Shut him down, you shut down the Bucs only threat.
Josh Johnson. I like the kid but he is frail, has arm strength in the bottom third of the league and gets happy feet. Tell Orakpo to stalk him and I wouldn't expect much. Considering the Bucs will be down by 30 at half time I expect 3 Ints from Johnson.
Running game. The new Earth, Wind and Fire has talent but as I said before, the team will be down early, the box will be stacked because of the lack of threats and Johnson's inexperience so don't expect anything. If the running game gets going, Raheem the Dream will abandon it early.
O-Line. Best unit on the team.......when healthy. Unfortunately Faine is hurt and Sears had a mental breakdown in the offseason. Now it's just average. Blitz early, blitz often. Put Orakpo across from Trueblood and watch the false-start flags fly.
42-6 Redskins.
Campbell senses his end approaching and steps up. Zorn hears whispers about an offseason firing and motivates. The Redskins will be out for blood following a loss to the 2nd worst organization in the NFL.
The Redskins are favored by 7. Take it and bet big. Bet the house. Bet the kids. Bet your life.

Breaking news in DC area: The Redskins practice was delayed nearly 2 hours today after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the field. Coach Zorn suspended practice and called the ... police and FBI. After analysis, FBI experts determined that the substance unknown to players was the GOAL LINE. Practice resumed after agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again this year

I would love to see a game where we just totally blow someone up but as history has proven to us it isn't going to happen no matter how bad the competiton seems to be. Somehow we find a way to be just as bad or as in last week, worse.

don't worry blache will find a way to screw this up...their running game will amass 200 yards or more...they will not put this game in that kids hands...and because its the bucs we will allow that to get into our heads and find a way to lose....
bucs 13-10...and all hell brakes loose and the norv firing reinactment will happen...
danny will ask jim to stay at the stadium while they contemplate what to do...lol if he were smart he'd have a plan b already in place..

BFBL – you’ve got two teams struggling hard to find their identity. Don’t see a blowout from either team but do see a hard fought game. The sad thing is that the loser of this game might end up throwing in the towel on the rest of the season – hope not for both teams sake.

+1 on that
we have not demonstrated the ability to dominate even the teams in the worst 1/3 of the NFL.. this game will be no different.. the game will remain close because of penalties, mistakes, lack of focus, dysfunction brought on by the coordinators and schemes, and laziness..there is ZERO sense of personal accountability on the side of the players except for a few people
we will either win by 3 or lose by 3... nothing will surprise me..

A - the WRs won't have to separate because Blanche will give them a 10 yard cushion to start
B - Bel-itch? ... Blootz? ... Blitz? Never heard of it
C - Skins O is self limiting even without errors (and of course there are plenty of those) ... best case ... 9 minutes a score
D - Skins D can't get off the field .. so the O will only see the ball about 7 times in the game ... max score is probably 21 points assuming the kicker is inside of 45 yards

all of this is wonderful information. i think this should be sent to jim zorn's mail box. however, none of this information will be used in game planning. actually, i'm convinced that the coaching staff doen'st even look for opposing teams weaknesses because they are never attacked. It's always the same plays (ex run left) that don't put fear or take advantage of any mismatches. I'm pretty fed up with zorn and blache. I'm fearing a loss again to a bottom of the leauge team again, but then again the skins seem to be a team that will find it's self in the celler of the east and desperatly trying to stay about the rams for the worst record in the nfc. maybe they are no better than the bucks. lets find out on sunday. go skins..fire vinny!

Sorry...punchy tonight. Oh...yeah, the game Sunday. You know, if I could go to the game I'd have a sign that says "IF YOU HEAR ME BOOING, ITS NOT AT THE PLAYERS. I BOO THE MANAGEMENT...well maybe a little for the players." As much as last week was...wow!...(words fail).
A turdburger?
I been a Skins fan since...well since I was 8 and Billy Kilmer was throwing wobbly balls that somehow got to receivers. Detroit...sunday? That was the worst Redskins game EVER! I'm starting to get over it and think ahead.
I don't know, maybe we'll get better. Gotta start somewhere and I hope we can play well against Tampa. I wanna run more. I want to see much better play from C-Los...getting really sick of watching Rodgers getting beat. I want more penetration from the D-line. They started to play good against the Rams but took a big step back in Detroit. (Hope Albert's a** is OK!)
C'mon guys! Gimme something this week!

Too old. It's up there with the kid who tells his abusive parents he's running away and going to the Redskins because they don't beat anyone.
A new-er one: I just bought this dog who does awesome tricks. I took him to a bar and asked if the we could watch the game there. The bartender said fine, just sit and the end and don't bother anyone. After the Redskins kicked a field goal, the dog jumped on the bar and went down high fiving everyone. The bartender said "that's a great trick, what does he do after a touchdown." I replied " I don't know, I've only had him since the Giants game"

The Redskins are starting to skid down the hill. Every game we lose will make the players less willing to get hurt, less willing to take hits for this coach - who is on his way out of this franchise and back to being a QB coach somewhere else.
Our downward slide is going to accelerate. We'll lose this game by more than 7.

This should be one of those games that goes to the wire and the Skins lose it by a field goal with 3 seconds left in the game, or they win it.
Yes, we are that bad because this team has no heart, along with an incompetent owner. Simple as that.

We lost and I lost a nights worth of sleep. I kind of feel like this game is going to be the same........
