Good afternoon/morning folks! Lots of the hR crew is on Facebook and has already read it, but I posted a blog yesterday that I'd like to link you all too who aren't on FB and those of you who are, but haven't read it yet. Great read Lady......being married for 13 years, I'll never get used to the couch, but sometimes the couch becomes a reality...in other words I will always root for them....but I have to admit, my enthusiasm right now is running on fumes...and a win sunday is not going to raise it.....when snyder comes to the realization that he needs to get a real GM and true direction for this team, THEN....I will support them with my money and my fandom....but until then there are other things that can be put in place to take up my time....

Again great read

Excellent analogy Lady – and like most the marriage vows say – “For better or worse” .

And if your father-in-law (Mr. Snyder) always doted on your wife (Redskins), spoiling her and calling her his favorite daughter, and buying her anything she wanted... by the time she marries you, well you are screwed. She'll be on the couch eating bon-bons for the next 5 years. And she'll be all depressed and say "why you hating on me?"....

And then your father-in-law will sue you for breach of contract for not taking care of his daughter....

I just printed out that logo and showed it to everyone in the office. Its perfect for the way the season and well anything involved with this franchise is going

I'm thinking of stealing it for my facebook profile pic for the next few months.

That was an excellent read and a good analogy. It's so true. I'm not feeling much love either, and then with what they did to the tail gating, they are down right deplorable.
Not a good franchise at all, but the only one I'll ever love.

OUTSTANDING, Lady!!! A better analogy I can't think of. As a "Veteran" of 28 years in the Marriage League, you hit it out of the ball park!

Speaking of Facebook, I am now a fan of "Dan Snyder rotting in hell."

I can't find that one, but I joined a few groups with Snyder in the name....

LadyNRedskinsfan, not only do you know how to perfectly equate the feelings of a true Redskins fan through your writing, you will undoubtedly be the ultimate wife to a ridiculously lucky Redskins fan someday soon.

I'm thinking of stealing it for my facebook profile pic for the next few months.

A friend of mine is already using it on facebook. She said it will remain there until the Skins win again.

I am pretty sure I proposed to her at least twice. She wasn't really feeling the fact that I was already married.

ROTFL!! Lady that was an excellent read. I'm sending it to another single lady friend of mine who happens to be a Redskin fan for life or lifer. I know she'll get a kick out of this. As for me, I'm married to a Cowboys fan. Fortunately she knows how much I get worked up over the Redskins and never talks smack to me. She's been trying to get me to go to a Redskin/Cowboy game w/her and I refuse. I value my marriage to much. :)

Great job Lady! Your sentiments are on the money.

I'd just like to add that Snyder is the rich, new husband that the rest of the family dislikes. It has been ten years now and we're still asking, "what did they (NFL Owners) see in him?" His money can't buy our love... or a divisional title. You'd think after a decade in the dog house, he'd have made some progress towards fulfilling his vows. You remember... bringing a championship back to D.C..

Here we are another season later, as the games drop off the schedule.... nothing changes. This relationship is toxic and needs to be addressed. Since we have no intention of leaving, and it is for better or worse, we had better let him know how we feel. So, let's open the lines of communication, and make it perfectly clear where we stand at our next counseling session: this Sunday @ 1 pm. Don't hold back!

LadyNRedskinsfan,

The word Passion is a "love" for something, it is not something you just “like” doing. ... So how do you find your passion if you don't know what it is? ... When we love something and are passionate about it. Like the redskins, it can be easy to do. I sent this to my wife. Thanks for the read it was so true and from the heart.

Lol, awww. Thanks Rich. Marriage is not registering on my Richter scale at the moment, lol, but I am kinda talking to another diehard fan right now, except he is a diehard fan of a division rival, lol

BTW, I'm glad you wrote this article. It comes across better than the one I was thinking about writing: How Being Redskins Fan Can Prepare You For Gay Marriage."
