Time to look back on the 82 and 91 seasons (and etc). which of the retrospective DVD's are the best in your opinion, and why?

Personally I'd probably enjoy ones that have more footage of actual games and play and not just highlights and lots of interviews... There seem to be three major cadidates available on DVD.

Are their any HD (blueray or HD-DVD) retrospectives?

I'm not sure what 3 candidates you are referring to. On Amazon http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_0_8?url=search-alias%3Ddvd&field-keywords=redskins+dvd&sprefix=redskins you can get the history of the Redskins DVD which is great and also you can get all 3 SB victories. Then there's America's Game for the SB victories that features some highlights but just as much talk. You can go to ebay and do a search for "redskins DVD" and maybe find the history of the redskins dvds issued for the 70th and 75th anniveraries. For yearly highlights DVDs you can get them from NFL Films if you are willing to pay $50.00 each. http://www.nflfilms.com/specialorders/ Look under Team Highlights. I would recommend the long versions for the '87 and '91 teams, they are listed at the end with the Title "Warpath" for the '87 team and "Super Bowl XXVI Champions" for the '91 team. There isn't a long version for the '82 team. NFL Films will also have old NFL Game of the Week broadcasts.

For old TV broadcasts, with the exception of the 3 SB wins, you'd have to go the bootleg trading route with sites such as www.ihaveplanet.com among others. The NFL apparently doesn't mind people trading old broadcasts but not selling them.
