I like Holsey and Peppi Zellner. Both played well today. Holsey was aroudn the ball and McNabb alot today. Does anyone notice that when we do apply pressure that Zellner tends to be int he game? Where was Ladarius?

PSF the thing that kills me is these guy's get hot and get taken out of the game, at the same time B.Smith stay in?! Edwards needs to have balls and sit him down a lot more. Pathetic.

That baffles me as well. I think they need to get Jackson in the rotation too.

Actually, yesterday was oen fo the few days we had decent pressure. I guess watching Holsey's performance cvan give an indication why Dalton is not active. Holsey played well, overall, the defensive line had a better game than usual. Bruce had some pressure, Chase had some, Holsey had 1 1/2 sacks, ovverall, this unit played pretty well for being the weakness of the defense.

The D-line played very well, in my opinion. Sacked McNabb three times and hurried him a lot. First time we've seen that kind of pressure all season.

Do you think it's because they want Smith to get that record that they keep him in?

I liked that Holsey stayed fired up through out the game. He impressed me last night. He got a lame penalty for tripping, but the replay looked like he fell down and the guy tripped over his big behind! I was yelling at that one as well!!

Maybe we could let Tampa use Bruce Smith this weekend - he can get is 2 sacks in the first quarter then we can get these younger guys more playing time (who are not only after sacks and won't over-run the play going after the QB).

Holsey is an interesting player, I like him, although when he's announced at FedEx you can hear a pin drop. I think that he did a good job boosting the pass rush this week, I was very impressed.

I think that we have better alternatives at right defensive end than Smith ... Upshaw comes to mind ...

The Defense played well IMO....they gave up very little and thanks to them we were in it till the end.

Holsey and Zellner have been very impressive to me, considering expectation, i think they exceed them. It just seem to me that the little times we do have an effective pass rush, Peppi is in the game. Imagine if we had Peppi and Ladarius in at the same time.
