I didn't understand the comments he made in reference to Taylor Jacobs. He made it seem as though Jacobs was playing his 4th or 5th game by saying he is a bust so far. I couldn't believe he said that.

You are leaving out that he said that Spurrier said that he was disappointed in him so far. If this isn't true, someone needs to point out to Spurrier that Collinsworth accused him of such.

You're right and if that is the case, then Spurrier figured that out in the preseason and I thought we would have heard something about it already. Maybe not.

Collinsworth is an idiot. I know a guy who played with him on the Bengals and they didn't like him either.

Collinsworth needs to only speak when he has something intelligent to say, which isn't often. I don't think you can label any rookie disappointment if their only NFL experience was preseason because of an injury.

That was my point SkinsKY. I don't think he did anything bad in preseason and this was his 1st regular season game. The fact that he mentioned Spurrier saying it I believe is bull.

I hate Collinsworth. Several times during that game I screamed at the TV in disgust including the Jacobs comments. I suppose Carson Palmer is a bust already as well? What a joker. How about his comment at the beginning playing off the McNabb controversy saying he was going to , "just talk about football." Yet he seemed to be yabbering about McNabb's plight and all the rhetoric around that every bit as much as Buck or Aikman. He also dogged Ramsey early in the game. Aikman came back with a qualifying statement such as 'thusfar' to correct Collinsworth's rash judgement.

yeah I have to admit, I hated aikman as a cowboy but he's fair and unbiased as a commentator. Collinsworth is a moron. bottom line.

yeah, I have to agree on the statement about aikman. I hated him as a cowboy, but he seems pretty good as an anouncer.
