It is true that we lost a heartbreaker that we had every opportunity to win in Philly... but there are some positives. We have definitely seen a team improve dramatically since last year. (We got hammered by the Eagles if you forgot).

Our Skins are still a year away from any real contention though, that is what this game proved. I don't think we are at the point where we can compete with the upper-level teams such as Philly.

Can we still make the playoffs this year? Possibly... with some help and luck. But I dont realistically see us doing much more than that... just getting in.

I hope this doesn't sound too negative... I havent given up and still want the best this season... but reality is reality... and Im not sure we are there just yet.

Glad you made it back safely from the Linc. I guess you weren't in my section but I got to torture 2 skins fans that were sitting next to me.

I agree with your comments about the Skins. They are improved, but they are not there yet. However, will they be able to add to the roster next year with the cap? You need help on both lines. Bruce Smith, I believe, is hanging it up after this year and you still need tackles. You need better guard play, although I thought I read that you were starting a sub this game.

Nah, I'm with you Skinz. I wasn't expecting alot this year but their early play was promising and still is to me. The penalties and lack of discinpline is killing us. Is it going to take a year to correct that. I hope we change our draft philosophy next year and draft one million defensive linemen. Oh and a tight end too.
