I mean comeon he took a shot that woulda sent most QBs to the showers. Came back and played a helluva 4th with a bruised shoulder. The same shoulder that was sprained not to long ago. I mean, I think the circumstances, he played well. He can't catch the balls he throws too...thats the recievers job.

I agree jporterweb, this guy takes on helluva beating every week, gets up doesn't point fingers, does as he is told to do and the players around him drop passes, false start, get personal foul calls sow e should let Ram alone. This guy is turning into a warrior and a leader

Yea, I know he misses passes, but when his arm is hit as he throws, the pick isn't his fault. When the ball hits the recievers hands(thrown behind or not) it's not his fault.

Ram doe snto deserve the blame here. Listen, we knew we wodul go through rough spots, just liek any other rookei QB does. The difference here is, not only will Ram go through typical young QB struggles, but he is getting killed while he does it.

Again, I say again, the OLine, the running backs and Steve Spurrier owe Ramsey an apology.

Alot of the false starts were his fault.

I wouldn't say they're all his fault. They know the snap count too. Spurrier even said they have gotten to the point where they specifiy in the huddle whether there's an option for an audible.

Every quarterback is responsible for recognizing the blitz and adjusting accordingly. It's difficult to learn that skill and most young quarterbacks struggle with it. That's why it is an unwritten, but widely acknowledged NFL rule that you blitz young quarterbacks until they prove doing so will hurt the defense more than the offense. Ramsey has not proven that. Not even close. In fact, he has demonstrated to the entire NFL that he does not know how to handle the blitz and this has given every single team we will face this year a handbook on how to attack our offense.

This does not make Ramsey a bad quarterback. He is not that. But he's a young quarterback struggling with the things young quarterbacks typically struggle with. There is no remedy but experience. He's getting it right now. Sometimes, experience hurts like hell.

Agreed Spence and I wish he had got this experience last season. Uh oh, I can hear them coming after me now.

Good take Spence. Spurrier just has to live w/ Ramsey's growing pains, you can't coach experience. Spurrier has done a good job so far w/ him he just needs time.

What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. But I'm afraid this pounding just might kill Ramsey. This is getting ugly, with no improvement in sight.

ramsey had a tough game yesterday. he was hit a bunch and had some very bad throws... i expect and that and accept that. im going to place alot of the blame on spurrier's play-calling for the loss. there was no balance. i mean, i understand that we were going to pass more because of the 2ndary players missing for philly but that does not mean you have to start off with like 10 passes to 1 run. that is ridiculous and it had me upset during the whole game. when i saw ramsey in pain on the sideline, i was thinking that its spurrier fault for subjecting him to all those hits because of all the called passing plays. we only had 49 yards rushing yesterday and you arent going to when a close game in the nfc east or even in the nfl period if you dont run the ball and have more balance to the offense. 50 to 21?? WTH!....

Ahhh, there's nothing like a little venting. I agree with everything you said.
