I'd like to appologize to #54 for bashing him all of last year and this year up to this point. He played his but off yesterday. Sure it's only one game but if he plays like that a few more times this year, i'll be happy with him. Besides, this was the game he's should get pumped for.
On another note, Armstead is a beast and Where was Lavar? Maybe Lavar should go back to rushing the passer where he can be more helpful to us.

Trotter's interception got him out of my doghouse after the personal foul on 3rd and forever in the Giants game. Great catch and run down to the one.
Sometimes it appears like slick defensive coordinators like Jimmy Johnson can fool and demotivate Lavar out of a game. Not often, but it appeared to be the case this game.

Trotter was never in my dog house. Yeah he made a bonehead play against NYG, but that is starting to be a typical game day occurrence for this team.

I agree Trotter played his butt off yesterday and I think he scored on that play also.
one more question related to the Trotter int. Why the hell did SS send a battered QB on a sneak. That had me upset. and then did it again. I think he is TRYING to get Ram killed

I'd like you to explore that statement.. do you really feel that the DC can gameplan against LaVar?
I'm not that familair with how it would work.:smash:
Your comments, Sir, if you please.

Yeah i dont understand the QB Sneek either. I am surprised that Rock did not get the carries. To me, at the 2 or 1 yard line, i go Rock first and second down.

Lavar had a specific job... spy McNabb. I watched him all afternoon and that is exactly what he did. He can be attributed to keeping McNabb contained (except for that one long run at the start of the game which was called back due to holding on..... you guessed it... Lavar).
He did a great job at what he was asked to do... freeing up the others to make the plays.

Yup, I noticed that too. He had an "almost" Clothsline on McNabb. Man I would've paid money for his forearm to have hit McNAbb right in the throat!!!!

I must be suffering from a case of the 'Mondays', I retract my statement about JJ, I meant Reid or others very familiar with our defensive personnel. Just speaking about Lavar's lack of production in this game. Was he still spying McNabb when Westbrook was rolling up the gut on us? Just didn't see him around the ball as he was in the other games. He was also beat on the goaline pass to the fullback. A little sloppy, I thought.

I thought Trotter would bounce back. Was po'd about the 3/24 penalty too. But as long as that the only one like that, I can write it off.

I just heard LaVar say on 980 that McNabb saw him at the last second. If he hadn't, he thinks it would have been all over for McNabb.:D

I am a big fan of #98 also, but this is a bold statement. Lavar had a great game vs. NYJ and forced a few fumbles in the NYG games that we just weren't fortunate enough to get. As I mentioned, I wasn't impressed with his play vs Philly, but I'm still convinced he'll make some big plays this year per usual to win some ballgames (i.e. Carolina INT in 2001 and knocking ball out of Warner's hand in the clutch vs Rams last year).
