What a blessing he is, a great breath of fresh air. Guys is awesome.
He has 12 of 16 FGs, 9/9 Extra Points and has 45 points. Man it has been a long time and we obviously need not worry about Kicker for sometime.
Kudos to John Hall

Anybody still flinch when we kick a FG?
The sore spot on ST yesterday had to be kickoff coverage, we let them get some good field position all game long and it felt like they'd break one open at any moment.

I love John Hall right now. he kicked over a combined 170 yards of field goal yesterday. Glad to have him.

Nope, honestly, John Hall has cured my flinching.

I was flinching, and taking out my calculator. After his 4-4 game, he is up to 75 percent on FGs.

He's our best offensive threat right now.

I'll admit that I still flinch. Nothing against Hall, but old habits are hard to break.

Gotta garee with Kenny here. I love Hall, but I'm so used to shielding my eyes during a kick....

First off, my sig since we got hall has remained the same, and still reflects my feelings.
Second, don't forget,of those 4 missed field goals of his, 2 were from 50+, and two from the high 40's.
He's 3 for 5 from 50+ (that's an entire season for a lot of kickers)
He's 3 for 5 from 40-50.
He's 6 for 6 from 20-40. (when was the last time we had that?)
I LOVE this guy!

Yup, J. HAll is the man!!!! I have to admit, I thought the knuckleball was a miss until I heard the announcers say it turned back. After that kick I watched the second one with no problems.

I ALWAYS have problems. Next week against the Bucs, I will be seeing horrific images again. The dreaded '99

I like hall but I am very upset w/ him. In his 6 years here he NEVER even came close to kicking a good onside kick and therefore we never had a chance to recover one but that OS kick on Sunday was perfect. Just more salt in the wound.

The second one was good too. Both gave the oppurtunity to make the play -- perfect second hop!
It is weird how I don't grimmiss like I used to on FG attempts -- hadn't felt like this sice Chip L
On a side note I just saw on ESPN that the Giants signed former Skins kicker Brent Conway (hehehehehe) that should cure the kicking game woes. LOL (i actually liked Conway personally and would wish him well if not for the team he signed with)

I think we can all are going in the way of thinking that our best off-season move was probably Coles then right after J. Hall.
God Bless Him.

And don't forget Randy "nerves of steal" Thomas

Thomas has been our best lineman so far.

Shaun Ellis has 5 sacks this year. We could use him.

i still cant watch a clutch FG sometimes. its like that nightmare that you have every night. you dont want to go back to sleep because you are afraid of what might happen next. but you have to go to sleep. the next thing you know, the nightmare ends happily. :D.
btw....john hall has definitely been a bright spot thus far this season and im so glad we got him....

Hall has been a bright spot BUT if you sit in the EndZone (and there are a few on the site), I can understand why you still flinch -the flight of JH kicks all seem to sail towards the post instead of right down the middle. Can make anyone nervous from that vantage point!

John Abraham is a free agent too. I'd love that just because of the irony.

There's little doubt what Joh Hall has meant to our team.
I don't know about you guys but we need to score a lot more TDs than we have so far. 16 FG attempts thru 5 games are way to many, IMHO. Its great that our offense is moving the ball. But we need to put teams away by scoring TDs, instead of kicking FGs.
BTW, yes, I flinch everytime we attempt a FG. I always think of the worse thing happening. Then when Hall makes it, it feels way better.

If your a Kicker, and your star Linebacker likes you, you know you're doing something right.

What a relief. The kicking game had been an embarassment until Hall got here. Glad all that circus bs is over.

That's not funny, I don;t think we'll be able to afford him if he keeps this up. The decision would be him or Abe and I think they;d go w/ Abe.

Abe's not a FA until after next season.

I feel for you nyjunc. I wouldn't want my roster molested like that by someone and than have him come back for seconds?! We do need some help on the dline...:p
