Spurrier was just interviewed by Sonny and George on the 5pm news. Here are some of his comments.


Penalties - Of the 19 false starts, 12 were from the shotgun position and 7 was when Ramsey was under center. Why are the jumping offsides in shotgun formation where it's a silent count.

Audibles - We're not audibling on every play even though it seems like it.

Ramsey - Ramsey needs to audible to more 3 step drops when he sees more guys coming than we can handle.

Chamberlain - He feels Chamberlain is an upgrade over Flem. He's about 260Ibs and they want him down a bit.

Seems to confirm my belief that alot of those "audibles" are fakes at attempts to throw the D off.

I thought so too. Instead of throwing them off, we lose 5 yards.

when we play TB i doubt we will use as many audibles. We also need to run outside and dump off passes in the middle of the field.
