that is where we could lose Zimmer as a possible DC... the Bills will likely go the coordinator route rather than go after Cowher or a big name...or they could go after Rivera

I still think Cowher will be their next coach. Just a hunch.

Heard over the TV this weekend that the Bills really like Billick too, along with all the other names that have been mentioned.

I don't think we'd be "losing" Zimmer. I'm not sold on him at all. I'm certainly not sold on the Cincy defense. When I think Cincy, I don't think defense.

head and shoulders better than Slowik, Shanny's defensive guru..
just for the sake of argument, Marv Lewis couldnt get Cincy to play defense, but Zimmer has.. also, Parcells retained Zimmer even though
he wasnt one of his coaches.. that is high praise for me because Parcells usually runs a closed shop

ESPN has been saying that cowher WILL NOT coach in the nfl next season.
if some team offers him 10mil a year and control,he'll take it i bet.
i think he wants the carolina job bad enough to wait a year on it.

Yeah, but I don't want Slowik either.
It just seems to me that, after looking at the erratic histroy of Zimmer, we can do a whole lot better. Especially for what we'll end up paying.

i dont know many other young guys who are out there i would rather have.. monty kiffin is gone. johnson is dead.. sheridan proved to be a bust. the guy the eagles have looks good, but dallas shredded them yesterday.
rivera wants to be a HC.. nolan is a bust.. crennel is going to KC or denver..
the thing is that he is a high character guy who lost his wife this year and the players just went nuts for him.. i will take him in a heartbeat.
who would you rather have ? lebeau is in his 70's and aint moving

A young guy from the Lebeau system would work just fine for me. I understand that Zimmer has a resume that includes success, but he also has a resume that incudes failure. He looks like a Blache in Cowboy clothing to me lol. We'd might as well keep Gray as hire Zimmer.
